Derivation of Stochastic Acceleration Model Characteristics from RHESSI flares View all project descriptions by submitter

Qingrong Chen Submitted: 17-Feb-2010 10:32

We present a method to derive important model parameters for stochastic acceleration of particles by turbulence in solar flares using the electron flux spectral images. We are applying this method to a few RHESSI flares that have simultaneous hard X-ray emission from the loop top and the footpoint regions.

Participants: Qingrong Chen, Vahe Petrosian
