Solar Radio Observations compared with HESSI data View all project descriptions by submitter

Yihua Yan Submitted: 21-Nov-2003 10:58

We have solar radio observations in the 1-2GHz, 2.6-3.8GHz, & 5.2-7.6GHz ranges with high temporal (5-8 ms) & spectral resolutions ( 4-20 MHz) covering the X-class flare events: 23-Oct-03, 8:35UT/X5.4; 26-Oct-03, 6:54/X1.2; 3-Nov-03, 1:30/X2.7, and other M- or C-class events. We will compare with HESSI data to understand the energy release and particle accelerations.

Participants: Yan, Y., Tan C.M., Liu Y.Y.,Fu Q.J.,Wang M.
