Multiwavelength observations of flares View all project descriptions by submitter

Ambretta Falchi Submitted: 25-Feb-2004 03:26

During a coordinated campaign (August 11 2002), we observed two C-flares. Ground based spectra (Ca II K and He D3) and Halpha images were obtained at the Dunn Solar Tower of NSO/Sac. Peak. Rasters of the active region during the flares were obtained with CDS-SOHO in transition region and coronal lines. We study the RHESSI observations (images, spectra) in comparison with other multiwavelength observations. Chromospheric evaporation is our main interest.
