Evolution of thermal vs. non-thermal emission in solar flares View all project descriptions by submitter

David Alexander Submitted: 26-Sep-2002 15:19

Combine RHESSI hard and soft X-ray data with SOHO/CDS and EIT data to explore the thermal/non-thermal evolution in solar flares, following the finding of Czaykowska et al. (1999) of thermally dominant energy transport late in the gradual phase of a solar flare.

Participants: David Alexander, Tom Metcalf, Nariaki Nitta, Bart De Pontieu
