Looking at our Sun is not looking at God. But what when the sun explodes ? I already feel some pity for the further generation in some billions of years ... Where will we be at that time ? Your beautiful site makes me feel our weakness, and the extraordinary beauty of Nature, even if it is totally indifferent to us and our neighbours on other planets. The main purpose of your site is to make us think.. Thank you so much for your work !!

Having but minimal acccess, a little JAVAScript, through my little terminal attached to my little tv set, your page exploded with a power and beauty that had me saying aloud and repeatedly, "O, my God!" and "GOD!" and "Good God!". I visited so much of the information with awe while fulfilling many years of wanting-to-know-more about our sun. The SOUND of the sun would be deafening, surely. Am pondering what happens to space debris as it approaches. Wondering if any of that activity has been documented... YPOP was saved in my "Favorites" file for a few months and am now, obviously, pleased to see that so much info is available.

February 22,2000 I am student studying, Physics and Astronomy. My question to you is: What is the time on all 9 planets respectively, if it is 12:00 a.m./1200 p.m. here on Earth? Example: If it is 12:00 a.m./12:00 p.m. on Earth, what time would it be on the planet Mars. Since every planet has a different revelution period around the Sun, I figured the time factor would be different for each planet.

I really liked your site except that you didn't have much on the info that we nerds like (Such as how big in diameter, what it is composed of, how many earth s could fit inside, etc.). And also, where did the sun come from? Have something on how our hom e star and other stars form. Also on where they're headed in the next few billio n years. Overall I think that this is a really neat site for the general public, but you still could improve on other subjects.
