HXR Footpoint Motion in Seismically Active Regions View all project descriptions by submitter

Juan Carlos Martinez-Oliveros Submitted: 28-Jun-2007 10:00

Recent observations of seismically active solar flares have shown that the helioseismic sources of certain sunquakes exhibit a distinct kernel structure. We attempt to establish a correlation between the HXR footpoint motion and the structure of the helioseismic egression power signatures obtained using acoustic holography.
