Dear colleagues,
We invite you to submit an abstract to the 9th (!) annual installment of our session for next-generation missions, instruments, technology, and science studying high-energy processes on the Sun. This includes theory/modeling to drive new measurements/missions, and first-light results from recent launches!
We welcome a broad range of topics on missions, mission concepts, enabling technology, new measurements/data, driving theories and models ... and especially encourage an eye for medium- and long-term outlook. Multi-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary connections are welcome and encouraged!
Deadline to submit is 11:59pm EDT on August 5. Session/submission link and description are below, for your reference.

SH024 - High-Energy Solar Investigations Through Next-Generation Remote Sensing: Spectroscopy, Imaging, and Beyond

Session description:
Energetic solar phenomena — including flares, coronal mass ejections (CMEs), coronal heating, and the solar wind — and the underlying processes of particle acceleration and plasma heating shape the heliosphere and radiate diagnostic signatures across the electromagnetic spectrum. Diverse missions, from large (e.g., Explorers, flagships) to small (e.g., sounding rockets, balloons, CubeSats) have advanced our understanding while revealing key gaps that require advanced, next-generation measurements to resolve the many spatial, temporal, and spectral scales relevant to energy release and transport. High-resolution, high-cadence imaging, spectroscopy, polarimetry, and novel remote-sensing techniques — spanning the photosphere, inner/middle/outer corona, and inner heliosphere — are vital for comprehensively and holistically probing these complex high-energy phenomena. This session invites presentations on innovative instruments, enabling technologies, new missions and concepts, first-light results, and remote-sensing observational strategies and modeling — and the science these all enable — to transform our understanding of high-energy solar processes.
