Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's
target (NOAA 11931) has remained quiescent since the
previous message. On the other hand, NOAA 11928
released a series of C-class events, the largest of which
was a C9.2 flare on 21-Dec-2013 at 10:36 UT. The region
has emerged new flux in its intermediate portion, resulting
in a strong gamma magnetic configuration, and shows
multiple elongated polarity separation lines. Furthermore,
the region exhibits a mixed polarity spot at its center.
Further high C-class activity is expected, with a chance
for an M-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's
target (NOAA 11928) emerged further flux and shows a
new highly sheared mixed polarity spot in its intermediate
portion. The region was responsible for C-class activity
including a C8.5 flare on 20-Dec-2013 at 15:33 UT. On the
other hand, NOAA 11931 has rotated onto the East limb
and was responsible for the two largest events of the
previous 24 hours, a M3.5 flare on 19-Dec-2013 at 23:19
UT and a M1.6 flare on 20-Dec-2013 at 11:57 UT. While the
magnetic configuration of NOAA 11931 is not as complex
as NOAA 11928, its coronal structure did not appear
significantly altered after the M-class flares, and so it may
be capable of further significant activity. The target region
is now designated as NOAA 11931. Further high C-class
activity is expected with a chance for further low M-class
events.

The current level of solar activity is low. A newly emerged
region, designated as NOAA 11930, was responsible for
low C-class activity. However, yesterday's target region
(NOAA 11928) continued to emerge flux, and now exhibits
a mixed polarity spot in its intermediate portion. So far,
the region was responsible for C-class activity, including
the largest event since the previous message (a C2.2 on
19-Dec-2013 at 15:35 UT). Further C-class activity is
expected with a chance for a low M-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target EFR now numbered NOAA 1928 developed
significantly and is currently the most complex region on
the visible solar disk displaying a D-type/beta-gamma
sunspot group. The largest event since the last message
was a C4.0 at 12/17/23:29 UT. Its source was a region
on the southeastern limb in the location of returning old
NOAA 1913. The region is too close to the limb to ascertain
its magnetic configuration.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is low. The largest
event since the previous message was a C3.1 flare
on 16-Dec-2013 at 21:33 UT, released by NOAA 11927,
a tiny bipole that emerged on the southern boundary
of NOAA 11917. But, over all the region (11917 and
11927) continues to decay. A new region is rapidly
emerging at ~S05E15, and appears to be growing in
X-ray activity. The target region is now designated
as the new region. Low C-class activity is expected,
with a chance for a moderate C-class event.
The position of the new region on 17-Dec-2013 at 18:10 UT is:

The current level of solar activity is low. A partially occulted
C1.5 flare occurred on over the east limb on 16-Dec-2013 at
01:14 UT. The source region will be monitored as it rotates
onto the disk and its magnetic configuration becomes visible.
Yesterday's target region (NOAA 11917) has continued to
decay, and no longer exhibits any sign of mixed polarity spots.
The region was responsible for C-class activity, including the
largest event since the previous message, a C3.6 flare on
16-Dec-2013 at 03:44 UT. High B-class activity is expected
with a chance for further low C-class activity.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 1917 has increased its sunspot area,
spot count, and magnetic complexity. The region is now
classified D-type/beta-gamma-delta. A weak delta configuration
is located in the northern intermediate portion of the sunspot
group. C-class activity expected with a slight chance of an
isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period.

NOAA 1917 slowly developed since the last message.
The region is maintaining its D-type/beta-gamma sunspot
group. 1917 was the source a few C-class events. The
largest was a C2.3 at 12/14/11:24 UT. Additional C-class
activity is possible in the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 1916 produced a limb occulted C1.7 event
at 12/13/06:24. 1916 has completed west limb passage.
The new target is NOAA 1917 a D-type/beta-gamma region
with emerging flux located in its northern portion. 1917 was
the source of a C4.8 event at 12/13/03:15 UT. Another C-class
event possible in the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The two largest events in the past 24 hours were produced
by eruptive filaments. A C4.6 at 12/12/03:36 UT was associated
with an eruptive filament located southeast of NOAA 1912 and
the C3.4 event at 12/12/06:59 UT was associated with an eruptive
filament located south of NOAA 1918 and southeast of NOAA
1917. Target region NOAA 1916 is still classified as an
E-type/beta-gamma region. C-class events are possible before
1916 completes west limb passage.
The position of NOAA 1916 on December 12 at 12:30 UT is:
