Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels. The Cycle 25 region in the northeast quadrant has remained quiescent, but has been joined by an emerging Cycle 24 region to the south. The northern region shall be the target region for a further 24 hours, but also include the southern region in your FOV if possible. No significant change in activity expected.
The approximate position of the target region on 21-Dec-2019 at 14:30 UT is:
N22E36, ( -539", 388" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
