Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased since the last message with NOAA 13190 and NOAA 13192 now beyond the western limb. There was a C5.3 flare at 07:00 UT today from an apparent spotless region near the southeast limb, but EUV and coronagraph images show dynamic activity from an approaching region in the same location. The region around the flare shall be the new default target with a possible increase in activity over the coming days.
The approximate position of the target region on 27-Jan-2023 at 12:30 UT is:
S18E86, ( -924", -293" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
