MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target region now numbered NOAA 1563 was the source of
C-class events in the past 24 hours. 1563 appears to have
decayed after its east limb passage. NOAA regions
1554, N16W75, 1560, N03E12, and the unnumbered region
at S15E76 also produced C-class events. The most interesting
region is NOAA 1560 which has developed a somewhat
magnetically complex D-type/beta-gamma sunspot group.
C-class events probable with an isolated M-class event
possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 1560 on August 31 at 17:00 UT is:
N03E12 (Solar X = -198", Solar Y = -067")

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 1555 was stable and quiet. The southern limb
region mentioned yesterday was very active during the past 24 hours.
It was the source of 7 C-class events and an M1.3 event
at 08/30/2:11 UT. The region is too close to the limb to ascertain
its magnetic configuration. We will switch to the SE limb region
today. C-class events expected with another M-class event
probable in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on August 30 at 12:00 UT is:
S25E85 (Solar X = -858", Solar Y = -408")

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. The target region will continue
to be NOAA 1555 for another 24 hours. 1555 is mostly
unchanged. The target will most likely switch tomorrow to an
active region located beyond the southeast limb that was
the source of minor B-class events since the last message.
No significant activity expected in the next 24 hours.

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low with only minor B-class events
during the past 24 hours. The northeastern target region has
rotated fully on the disk. It is a decaying plage with a simple
B-type/beta sunspot group with two spots. The target will
switch to NOAA 1555. 1555 has a D-type/beta sunspot group
with about 20 spots. A minor C-class event is possible in
the next 24 hour period.

The regions on the visible solar disk are stable. The target
will switch to the northeastern limb area to a region rotating
onto the disk. The region is too close to the limb to ascertain
its magnetic configuration but it was the source of a few B-class
events and a low level C-class event since the last message.
Another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on August 27 at 9:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 11554 has grown in
spot area coverage since yesterday's initial NOAA designation and has
maintained a beta/D-type sunspot group class. A new region has rotated
over the NE limb and is designated as NOAA 11555. This region appears
to have the largest spot area on disk, but today's target will remain
as 11554 due to past flaring history. B-class activity is probable,
with a chance for low C-class events.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Yesterday's target region has been designated as NOAA region 11554.
This region has continued to evolve, now showing substantial spots
and mature penumbrae in a beta/D-type sunspot group classification.
NOAA region 11554 produced a C1.7 flare on 25-Aug-2012 at 02:24 UT.
More C-class activity is possible in the following 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains very low. A new region has emerged
in the North East quadrant, developing several clear spots in the past
24 hours. This unnumbered region appears to have a beta magnetic class
with well-developed coronal loops, and is currently forming penumbrae.
B-class activity is possible in the following 24 hours, with a chance
for some low C-class events if further magnetic flux emerges.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. NOAA region 11548 has continued to
maintain spot area, number of spots, and a beta/C-type sunspot group class.
Although NOAA 11548 has recently only produced B-class events, this region
will remain the target due to its compact population of coronal loops that
are bright across a range of temperatures. B-class activity is probable,
with a chance for C-class events.

NOAA region 11548 has shown no significant evolution since yesterday's
message with maintaining spot area, number of spots, and a beta/C-type
sunspot group class. NOAA 11548 has produced only B-class events in the
past 24 hours. Continued B-class activity is expected, with a chance of
some C-class events in the following 24 hours.
