The level of solar activity is low. Since the previous
message, NOAA 12173 was responsible for low
C-class activity but shows signs of further decay.
NOAA 12177 has ceased emerging significant new
flux but maintains a weak mixed polarity spot in its
intermediate portion. Low C-class events are possible
with a chance for a high C-class flare.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Since the previous
message, NOAA 12173 was responsible for C-class activity
and the largest event, a M1.0 flare on 28-Sep-2014 at 17:33
UT. However, the region continues to decay. NOAA 12175
maintains its strong delta configuration, but its flux emergence
appears to have subsided and no significant activity was
released. On the other hand, NOAA 12177 has emerged new
flux in its following and intermediate portion, resulting in a
mixed polarity spot. The region has was responsible for
moderate C-class activity, so far. Further C-class events are
likely with a chance for an M-class flare.

The level of solar activity is moderate. Since the previous message,
NOAA 12173 was responsible for an M5.1 flare on 28-Sep-2014 at
2:58 UT. However, the region does not show a strong polarity separation
line or further substantial flux emergence. On the other hand, NOAA
12175 is rapid emerging flux in the following portion, and its delta spot
has strengthened. High C-class activity is expected, with a chance for
an M-class event.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low to moderate. Since the
previous message, yesterday's target (NOAA 12172)
released several high C-class events, including a C8.7
flare on 26-Sep-2014 at 05:43 UT. New flux emergence
is evident to the SW of its leading portion. The region
does not show a strong polarity separation line, but exhibits
a gamma configuration. On the other hand, NOAA 12172
(responsible for moderate C-class activity, so far) has
emerged rapidly since the previous message and exhibits
a strong shearing delta configuration, evidenced by the
rapidly moving positive sunspot. High C-class activity
is expected, with a chance for an M-class event.

rotating over the East limb was responsible for C-class
activity since the previous message. Yesterday's target
has not released further significant activity, but shows
some evidence for flux emergence in its intermediate
portion. Further C-class activity is expected, with a
chance for another M-class event.

emerging region is visible near disk center in the
northern hemisphere, but has not yet produced significant
activity. Since the previous message, yesterday's target
(12172) was responsible for moderate C-class activity and
an M2.3 flare on 23-Sep-2014 at 23:26 UT. There is evidence
for further flux emergence in the intermediate portion of the
region and a minor mixed polarity spot. Moderate C-class
activity is expected, with a chance for further M-class event.

Solar activity continues at low levels. The largest event since the
last message was a C5.2 flare from NOAA 12166 at 11:31 UT today. A
large sunspot group, designated NOAA 12172, has rotated onto the
southeast limb and shall be the new target region. It has produced
several low C-class flares over the past 24 hours and appears to have
a beta-gamma configuration. Further low-level activity expected.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at low levels. NOAA 12169 has decayed
significantly since the last message. NOAA 12171, a new region on the
southeast limb, was the source of a C3.3 flare at 17:27 UT yesterday
and shall be the new target region. It has a simple beta/D-type
configuration and may produce additional isolated low level events
over the next 24 hours.
