Solar activity has remained around the C1 level since the last
message. NOAA 12941 was the source of a C1.2 flare at 22:57 UT
yesterday. The region has undergone flux emergence in its core, but
retains its beta/E-type configuration. It shall continue as the target
region with low-level activity possible over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to C-level since the last message due to a
resurgence from NOAA 12936 currently behind the northwest limb. The
target region in the northeast quadrant, NOAA 12941, has remained
quiescent and unchanged, and retains its beta/E-type configuration. It
shall continue as the target region for a further 24 hours, although
only isolated low-level events are likely at this time.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 12936
has now rotated its spots over the North West limb. Most of
the spotted regions on the visible disk have shown signs of
slight decay since the last message. The target switches to
NOAA 12941, a beta/E-type classified sunspot group that was
the source of four low C-class flares shortly after the last
message was issued. Further C-class activity is expected in
the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 12936
showed signs of decay but it has remained as a beta/E-type
sunspot classification. This region has continued to flare
since the last message, producing six low C-class flares
including the largest of the period (a C2.6 on 4-Feb-2022
at 21:42 UT). Although NOAA 12936 is now rotating over the
North West limb, it will remain the target for the next 24
hours while its high-lying loops remain visible. Additional
C-class flares are expected in the following 24-hour period,
with a small chance for a low M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 12940
decayed slightly since the last message and has simplified in
magnetic classification to a beta/C-type sunspot group. This
region did not produce any flaring activity since the last
message, so the MMCO target switches back to NOAA 12936 as it
rotates up to the North West limb. NOAA 12936 has remained as
a beta/E-type sunspot classification but has increased in its
frequency of flaring to produce eight C-class flares over the
past 24 hours, including the largest of the period (a C5.8 on
4-Feb-2022 at 15:39 UT). Additional C-class activity is likely
in the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class flare.

remains classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. There
are several spotted NOAA regions that produced C-class activity
since the last message, including NOAA 12940. Further C-class
activity is expected over the following 24-hour period, with a
chance for a low M-class flare.

The level of solar activity is at a low-to-moderate. The target
region NOAA 12936 has shown mixed signs of decay and new sunspot
development, remaining classified as a beta/E-type sunspot group.
This region continued producing only low C-class activity since
the last message, so the Max Millennium coordinated observing
plan #003 (Region Likely To Produce A Major Flare) will cease at
this time. Although NOAA 12936 is expected to produce additional
C-class activity, the target region switches to NOAA 12940. This
region is classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group and
has been the source of several low-to-mid C-class flares since
the last message. Further C-class activity is expected, with a
chance for a low M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. The target NOAA 12936
continued to evolve its interior spots since the last message, but
retained a classification as a beta/E-type sunspot group. The most
flare-productive region has been newly numbered NOAA 12940 in the
North West quadrant that produced several C-class events including
the largest flare of the period (a C8.6 on 1-Feb-2022 at 07:25 UT).
Whilst NOAA 12940 is expected to produce more C-class flares and it
has the potential for low M-class, NOAA 12936 remains the target of
the current Max Millennium coordinated observing plan #003 (Region
Likely To Produce A Major Flare) for another 24 hours. This is due
to the leading spots of NOAA 12938 (that appear to be showing minor
flux emergence) being relatively close to the opposite-polarity and
irregularly-shaped main trailing spot of NOAA 12936.
