Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message, with
low C-class flares from NOAA 13234. However, the region has increased
in size and complexity, and is now classified as a beta-gamma-delta
region due to mixed polarities within the trailing sunspot. This
portion of the active region also appears to be coalescing and
rotating which may introduce significant sheering along the polarity
inversion line. As such we are implementing a Major Flare Watch
campaign at this time due to the increased possibility of a M5 flare
or greater over the next 24-48 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar conditions have remained at the low C-level since the M6.4 flare
on 25-Feb-2023, with NOAA 13229 now approaching the western limb. NOAA
13234 remains unchanged in terms of size and complexity, maintaining a
beta-delta configuration with a sunspot area >500uh, and shall
continue as the default target region. Further C-level activity likely
with chance for an isolated low M-class flare over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate-to-high level. Target region NOAA
13234 remained stable in sunspot area and number of sunspots since
the last message, continuing to be classed as a beta-delta/E-type
sunspot group. This region only produced one C-class flare in the
period (a C3.2 on 26-Feb-2023 at 07:55 UT). The largest magnitude
flare was an M6.3 from NOAA 13229 on 25-Feb-2023 at 18:40 UT that
was accompanied by a CME. At this time the Major Flare Watch comes
to an end, but NOAA 13234 will remain the target because it still
has a delta configuration and NOAA 13229 has shown signs of decay
following its M6.3 and CME. C-class activity is expected over the
next 24 hours, with a chance for more M-class flares.

The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13234
was stable in terms of spot area and number of spots since the last
message, remaining classified as a beta-delta/E-type sunspot group.
NOAA 13234 again produced C-class activity in the period, but the
largest magnitude flare was an M3.7 from NOAA 13229 on 24-Feb-2023
at 20:03 UT. The Major Flare Watch will remain on NOAA 13234 for a
possibly final 24 hours because it retains a reasonable delta spot.
M-class flares are possible in the following 24-hour period.

Although the rate and magnitude of flaring has decreased, the Major
Flare Watch continues on NOAA 13234 for another 24 hours. Additional
M-class activity is possible over the next 24 hours.

The level of solar activity is moderate. Target NOAA 13234 has grown
in terms of spot area and number of spots since the last message and
has increased in complexity to be classified as a beta-gamma/E-type
sunspot group. The largest magnitude flare in the period was an M1.5
on 23-Feb-2023 at 06:11 UT, produced by a new sunspot group that is
emerging slightly ahead of target region NOAA 13234 (but has not been
numbered by NOAA yet). NOAA 13234 has continued to be flare-productive
since the last message, being the source of multiple C-class flares
and an M1.0 on 23-Feb-2023 at 08:32 UT. The Major Flare Watch will
continue with NOAA 13234 as the target for at least another 24 hours.
Further M-class flares are probable in the following 24-hour period,
with a chance for a low X-class flare.

to be the most flare-productive region on disk being the source of
three M-class flares since the last message, including the largest
magnitude flare in the period - an M5.0 on 21-Feb-2023 at 19:57 UT.
The Major Flare Watch continues with NOAA 13234 as the target. More
M-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance
for a low X-class flare.

The level of solar activity is moderate. The target region has
rotated onto the visible disk and is now numbered as NOAA 13234.
This region has been designated as a beta/D-type sunspot group,
but this may be affected by foreshortening due to its proximity
to the limb. This region has continued to produce multiple high
C-class flares since the last message, as well as the largest
flare of the period - an M4.7 on 21-Feb-2023 at 11:14 UT. The
MM#003 Major Flare Watch will continue on NOAA 13234. Further
M-class activity is probable in the following 24-hour period.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 13229
grew slightly since the last message and was reclassified as a
beta-delta/E-type sunspot group. This region has produced four
C-class flares in the period, the largest being a C5.5 flare on
20-Feb-2023 at 17:37 UT. A new spot region is in the process of
rotating over the North East limb and has already produced four
C-class flares and the largest magnitude flare of the period -
a foot-point occulted M4.4 on 20-Feb-2023 at 14:47 UT (therefore
of actually larger peak magnitude). The MM#003 Major Flare Watch
will remain in effect, but the target switches to this currently
unnumbered region at the North East limb. More C-class activity
is expected over the next 24 hours, with a good chance for
M-class flares.

reclassified as a beta-delta/D-type sunspot group since the last
message. This region only produced a C2.7 flare on 19-Feb-2023
at 14:50 UT. The MM#003 Major Flare Watch will remain in effect
on NOAA 13229 for a further 24 hours. Further C-class flares are
expected in the following 24-hour period, with a chance for an
M-class flare.
