Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate-to-low. Target region NOAA
13256 has rotated just over the North West limb and was classified
as a beta/C-type sunspot group at the start of the UT day (but the
classifications will have been severely impacted by foreshortening
effects so close to the limb). NOAA 13256 has continued to produce
C-class flares since the last message, while the largest magnitude
flare in the period (a C4.4 on 31-Mar-2023 at 09:02 UT) came from
the limb-exiting location of NOAA 13260. The current MM#003 Major
Flare Watch on NOAA 13256 will continue for a further 24 hours as
its high-lying loops remain in Earth-view. More C-class flares are
expected over the following 24-hour period with a small chance for
another >M5 flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a high level. Target NOAA 13256 showed
a decrease in sunspot area and longitudinal extent since the
last message to be classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot
group, but the designations will have been affected by limb
foreshortening to some degree. This region has continued to
be flare productive, being the source of C-class flares and
the largest flare in the period - a M5.4 on 30-Mar-2023 at
07:24 UT. The MM#003 Major Flare Watch that is on NOAA 13256
was successful in catching this >M5 flare and will continue
to be in effect. Further C-class flares are expected in the
next 24 hours, with a chance for another flare >M5 as NOAA
13256 rotates up to the West limb.

The level of solar activity is high. Target region NOAA 13256 grew
in spot area and longitudinal extent since the last message, being
reclassified as a beta-gamma/F-type sunspot group. This region has
continued to be the most flare-productive region, being the source
of multiple C-class flares and the largest flare in the period - a
X1.2 on 29-Mar-2023 at 02:18 UT. At this point we are initiating a
MM#003 Major Flare Watch on NOAA 13256. C-class flares are expected
over the following 24-hour period, with a chance for another flare
>M5 as NOAA 13256 rotates towards to the West limb.

as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. NOAA 13256 continued to
produce C-class activity, being the source of 3 C-class flares
including the largest in the period - a C3.5 on 27-Mar-2023
at 20:20 UT. Further C-class activity is expected in the next
24 hours.

sunspot group. NOAA 13256 continued to produce flaring activity during the
period, totaling 5 C-class events that includes the largest flare - a C4.6
on 27-Mar-2023 at 06:20 UT. Additional C-class flares are expected over the
following 24-hour period.

Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event
since the last message was a C2.6 flare at ~04:00 UT today
from NOAA 13256 (S23W38). 13256 has increased in size and
complexity, and is now classified as a beta-gamma/E-type region.
Today the target shall switch to this region. The neighbouring
regions NOAA 13257 (S27W18, alpha/H-type) and 13259 (S22W24,
beta/C-type) also produced a few low C-class flares during the
period. Please also include NOAA 13257 and 13259 in your field
of view if possible. Further C-class activities are expected in the
next 24 hours.

Solar activity continues at a very low level. A series of low
C-class and high B-class flares were produced by various
regions during the period. The largest event in the period
was a C2.2 flare at ~13:10 UT on 24-Mar-2023 from the
target region NOAA 13259. 13259 grew slightly in terms of
sunspot group and has been designated as a beta/C-type
classification. Today the target will stay on this region. If
possible, please also include the neighbouring NOAA 13257
(S27W08) and 13256 (S23W28) in your field of view. Additional
low C-class flares are expected from various regions in the
next 24-48 hours.

since the last message was a C1.7 flare at 06:04 UT today
from the target region NOAA 13259. 13259 retains a beta/B-type
classification and also produced a B9 flare in the period.
NOAA 13259 shall continue as the target region for the next
24 hours. Please note that some other active regions,
NOAA 13257 (S27E07), 13262 (S18E49), 13260 (N20E09)
and a spotless region (S16E25) also produced several high
B-class flares during the period. If possible, please also include
NOAA 13257 in your field of view. More high B-class and low
C-class activities are expected in the next 24 hours.

Yesterday's target region NOAA 13257 (S23E20, beta/C-type) was
quiescent in the past 24 hours. The largest event was a C2.6 flare
at 03/22/19:07 UT from NOAA 13259 (S22E13, beta/B-type), which
also produced two C1 flares and one high B-class flare during the
period. 13259 is emerging negative fluxes. Today the target shall
switch to this region. If possible, please also include the neighbouring
NOAA 13257 and 13256 (S22W00) in your field of view due to their
closely connected magnetic loops. Further C-level activities are
expected, with a slight chance for a low M-class flare over the next
24 hours.

was quiescent during the period. The largest event was an
impulsive C4.6 flare at 03/21/13:46 UT from NOAA 13257
(S28E33, alpha/H-type) which also produced another three
low C-class flares in the period. Today the target shall switch
to this region. The nearby region NOAA 13259 (S23E24,
beta/B-type) also produced two C1 flares during the period.
If possible, please also include NOAA 13259 and 13256 in
your field of view. Further C-level flares are expected in the
following 24 hours, with a slight chance for a low M-class flare.
