Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity on the disk(the Earth facing side) has been low since
the last message. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C5.1
flare at 12:04 UT today(10/22) from the target region, NOAA 13863.
However, the GOES/XRS 1-8A flux had maintained ~C4 level for more
than 10 hours after the over-the-limb C6.2 flare yesterday(07:54 UT
on 10/21) due to the well developed post flare loops above the
Southeast limb. The region produced the flare is still behind the
limb, but we will observe the Southeast limb region as the new default
target for the next 24 hours. Additional C class flares or larger are
expected.
The position of the target on 22-October-2024 at 15:00 UT is:
S13E83 (-930",-234").

Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message.
There were several C-class flares during the past 24 hours with the
largest being a C6.2 event from behind the Southeast limb.
NOAA 13863 showed new flux emergence in the East of the main
(negative) sunspot yesterday and has produced several C class flares
including a C5.0 flare at 22:42 UT on 10/20. We will observe the NOAA
13863 on the area of newly emerged spots as the default target for
the next 24 hours. Additional C class events are expected.

at 16:00 UT is: S08E38 (-593",-213").

Solar activity has decreased to a low level since the last message.
The largest event during the period was an M1.7 flare at 14:27 UT
on October 19 produced by the target region NOAA 13854. 13854
was also the source of three C-class flares. It has almost rotated
over the west limb. We will watch this region for a final 24 hours but
are ending the Major Flare Watch campaign at this time. C-class
activities are expected in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has increased since the last message. The largest event
was an M6.5 flare at 06:48 UT today produced by the target region
NOAA 13854. 13854 also produced three low M-class flares, two M4.8
and an M1.1, during the period. At this time we are implementing the
Major Flare Watch campaign, although 13854 is rotating over the west
limb and retains a beta-gamma/E-type configuration. Further low M-class
activities are expected with some chance of another major flare (>M5)
in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has been at a low level. The largest event since
the last message was a C6.6 flare at 14:07 UT yesterday from
NOAA 13860. 13860 just emerged yesterday and was designated
as a beta/D-type configuration. The target region NOAA 13854
produced two C-class flares (C5.7 and C3.8) today and has been
downgraded to a beta-gamma/E-type region. 13854 will remain
as the target today before it rotates over the west limb. C-class
activities are expected from various regions in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a moderate level. The largest event
since the last message was an M2.4 flare at 04:53 UT today
produced by NOAA 13854. 13854 also produced an M1.3 flare
and five C-class flares. It now has been designated as a beta-
gamma-delta/E-type configuration. Today we will watch this region.
Yesterday's target NOAA 13852 also produced two low M-class
flares, an M1.5 and M1.3, and has been degraded to a beta-
gamma/C-type configuration. If possible, please also include
13852 (S11W55) in your field of view. Note that another region,
NOAA 13856 (N10W09, beta-gamma-delta/D-type), produced
an M1.0 and three C-class flares. Further low M-class flares are
expected in the next 24-hour period.

Solar activity continues at a moderate level. The target region
NOAA 13852 produced two M-class flares, an M3.8 at 03:12 UT
(the largest event during the period) and M2.8 at 04:57 UT today,
and more than ten C-class flares. The nearby region 13854 also
produced two low M-class flares (M3.7 and M2.1). Both regions
have a beta-gamma/E-type configuration. If possible, please also
include 13854 (S05W40) in your field of view. Further low M-class
flares are expected in the next 24-48 hours.

Solar activity continues at a moderate level. Two low M-class flares,
an M1.9 at 02:02 UT and M1.2 at 02:23 UT today, were produced by
NOAA 13852. 13852 retains a beta-gamma/D-type configuration but
increases in the spot area and number of spots. Today the target will
switch to this region. If possible, please also include NOAA 13854
(S05W22, beta-gamma/E-type) in the field of view. Yesterday's target
NOAA 13848 has almost rotated beyond the west limb. Additional low
M-class activity is probable in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity was at a moderate level. NOAA 13848 produced
an M3.4 flare at 00:04 UT and an M1.8 flare at 13:22 UT today
plus seven C-class flares when it was rotating over the west limb.
This region retains a beta-gamma/D-type configuration and will
be today's target. Yesterday's target NOAA 13854 increases in
the sunspot area and number of spots and has been designated
as a beta-gamma/E-type configuration. However, it only produced
three ~C2 flares since the last message. Additional low M-class
activity is likely from the limb target 13848 before it rotates beyond
the west limb.
The position of NOAA 13848 on October 14 at 15:30 UT is:

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a low-moderate level. A number of flares
were produced, the largest being two C5.7s from NOAA 13850 and NOAA
13848 at 19:38 UT and 06:41 UT, respectively. NOAA 13854 shows some
minor sunspot dynamism, however it also shows signs of decay. NOAA
13854 will remain the target region. Further C-class activity is
expected, with a chance for low level M-class activity in the next 24
hours.
