Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be low but slightly increased since the
last message. The largest event was a C3.8 flare at 00:20 UT today
(4/24) from NOAA 14064, which produced 2 more low-C class flares.
Other C class events were mainly from NOAA 14070, which increased
both in size and magnetic complexity (to a beta-gamma type), and
produced 7 low-C class flares. There was no report of flares from
the target region, NOAA 14062 in the recent 24 hours.
NOAA 14064 is undergoing new flux emergence in the West vicinity
of the trailing (negative) sunspot today. The EUV loops from this
region frequently interact with a filament located at the Southeast
of this region, and with a plage region around NOAA 14067.
Today, we will switch our target to NOAA 14064, to observe the area
of new flux emergence. Additional C class events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14064 on 24-April-2025 at
15:30 UT is: N10W26 (420", 236").

Solar activity has been very low since the last message. The largest
event was a C2.6 flare at 18:51 UT yesterday (4/22) from the target
region, NOAA 14062. Other low C class events were from multiple
regions including NOAA 14068, 14064, and newly emerged 14070.
Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14062, at the North side of
the main (negative) sunspot for another 24 hours. Additional C class
events are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14062 on 23-April-2025 at
15:30 UT is: S01W39 (606", 34").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a low-to-moderate level since
the last message. There were 2 M-class flares reported in the
past 24 hours. One is an M1.9 flare at 18:24 UT yesterday(4/21)
from NOAA 10462, the other is an M1.3 flare at 9:58 UT today
from 14060 over the West limb. Several C class flares were
reported from multiple regions, but yesterday's target, now
assigned the NOAA number 14068 has been flare-quiet for more
than 24 hours. NOAA 14064 is undergoing notable new flux
emergence at the Northeast vicinity of the trailing (negative)
sunspot but not showing the flare activity yet.
NOAA 14062 reduced its magnetic complexity to a beta type, and
increased the number of spots by fragmentation. The M1.9 event
yesterday as well as the C1.7 event today was observed from the
North side of the main (negative) sunspots. Today, we will switch
the default target to NOAA 14062. We will observe the North side
of the main sunspot, expecting additional C class events.

16:00 UT is: S01W25 (412", 58").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased from the last message
but still is at a low level. The largest event in the last
24 hours was a C4.3 event at 17:02 UT yesterday from NOAA
14063 approaching the West limb. Several low-C class events
were reported from multiple regions, like NOAA 14064, 14062
and a bright plage rotated from the Northeast limb.
The target region, the source region of two M class flares
(M4.5 on 4/18 and M1.0 on 4/20) from behind the Southeast limb,
is still unnumbered but appears to be a compact region formed
by 3 small sunspots. This region only produced a low C class
flare in the past 24 hours, but maintains rapid intensity
fluctuations in EUV wavelengths. We will continue to observe
this region for another 24 hours. C class flares are expected,
with a slight chance of an isolated low M class event.
The position of the target on 21-April-2025 at 16:00 UT is:
S26E66 (-783", -398").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity on the visible side of the disk continues to be
very low. However, there was another M class flare (M1.0 at
11:39 UT today, 4/20) observed from the Southeast limb region.
The largest event on the disk in the past 24 hours was a C4.3
flare at 16:23 UT yesterday from NOAA 14065. There was no
flare reported from the target region, NOAA 14064.
The source region of the M flare is currently under limb passage.
The sunspot is not visible but brightness in EUV wavelengths
started to be apparent. Today, we will switch the default target
to this unnumbered Southeast limb region. A few C class to
low-M class flares are expected.
The position of the target on 20-April-2025 at 15:30 UT is:
S25E88 (-864", -399").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity on the visible side of the disk has been very low
since the last message. However, an M4.5 flare was observed from
behind the Southeast limb (at the latitude ~26 deg.) at 23:08 UT
yesterday(4/18) associated with a significant CME. The source
region of this flare is not visible from us yet.
The largest event on the disk in the past 24 hours was a C2.7
flare at 21:48 UT yesterday from NOAA 14064. This region grew
significantly in size to 350 millionths and shows sunspot motion
in the area of trailing (negative) sunspots. While on the contrary,
the target region, NOAA 14062, did not show flare activity during
the past 24 hours.
Today, we will switch the default target to NOAA 14064, on the
trailing sunspot area mentioned in the above. Additional C class
events are expected.

15:00 UT is: N09E40 (-608", 226").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been very low since the last message. The largest
event in the last 24 hours was a C2.4 flare at 3:44 UT today(4/18)
from NOAA 14066, a small region emerged in the East vicinity of the
target region, NOAA 14062.
NOAA 14062 maintains the magnetic complexity of a beta-gamma type
and slightly increased in size (280 millionths). The number of flares
reported from this region in the past 24 hours is only two (C2.1 at
22:00 on 4/17 and C1.8 at 5:51 UT on 4/18). However, this region
is magnetically connected with NOAA 14066 and a plage region in the
Northern vicinity, which enhances the flare activities of the whole
region. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14062, as the default
target. Additional C class events are expected in connection with
the activities of nearby regions.

16:30 UT is: S03E29 (-473", 11").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the last 24 hours was a C4.6 flare at 14:11 UT
today(4/17). This event appears to be contributed by two regions,
one is the target region from the Northeast limb (still unnumbered)
and the other is NOAA 14062.
NOAA 14062 developed in size (250 millionths) and magnetic complexity
(beta-gamma type) and produced at least 5 low-C class flares in the
past 24 hours. Today we will switch the default target to NOAA 14062,
because of the flare history during the past 48 hours. We will observe
the Southeast edge of the main (negative) sunspots of NOAA 14062,
expecting additional C class flares.
The position of the target in NOAA 14062 on 17-April-2025 at
15:30 UT is: S03E43 (-656", 0.55").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity declined to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the last 24 hours was an M1.3 flare at 17:57 UT
yesterday(4/15) from NOAA 14055 behind the West limb. The second
largest event (C8.1 at 4:18 UT today) was also from this region.
A region rotated from the Southeast limb yesterday was assigned the
NOAA number 14062, classified as beta/D type. This region produced
3 low-C class flares in the past 12 hours.
Yesterday's target, the Northeast limb region is yet unnumbered, but
at least two sunspots came into view. This region only produced a
C class flare (C2.4 at 12:23 UT today), but maintains its rapid
intensity fluctuation in EUV. Today, we will continue to observe this
Northeast limb region, expecting additional C class events.
The position of the Northeast limb region on 16-April-2025 at
16:30 UT is: N10E78 (-920", 193").

Dear Collaborators,
The Solar activity continued to be at a moderate level since the last
message. The largest event in the last 24 hours was an M1.5 flare at
10:04 UT today(4/15) from a region behind the Northeast limb.
The target region NOAA 14055 produced more than 10 low-to-mid C
class flares and completed the limb passage yesterday. At this time
we will close the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14055.
The region produced an M1.5 flare is still behind the limb but showing
rapid intensity fluctuations in EUV wavelengths, observed as a few
low-C class flares after the M1.5 event. Today we will observe the
Northeast limb over this unnumbered region as the default target.
Additional C class flares are expected with a chance of another
M class event.
The position of the Northeast limb region on 15-April-2025 at
16:00 UT is: N09E88 (-943", 157").
