Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains extremely low level. Spotless conditions continue on the visible disk. The small North West limb prominence has diminished since the last message. The target will be a new twisted filament structure that has formed at the North East limb. No significant flaring activity is expected over the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 28-Jan-2018 at 22:00 UT is:
N26E90, ( -875", 425" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
Shaun Bloomfield (Northumbria University)
