Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message. The largest event during the period was a C6.0 flare at 01:21 UT today produced by NOAA 13824 (S04W35, beta-gamma/C-type). The target region NOAA 13825 only produced four C-class flares with the largest one being a C5.0 at 13:30 UT today. 13825 has been designated as a beta-gamma/E-type region with decreasing the sunspot area and number of spots significantly. The Major Flare Watch campaign will continue for a further 24 hours. C-class activities are expected with a small chance of a major flare in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13825 on September 16 at 15:30 UT is:
S15E26 (-405", -349")
