Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 13354 has now rotated beyond the western limb. A large (~400uh) alpha sunspot, designated NOAA 13363, has rotated into view on the southeast limb but has so far remained quiescent. The new target region shall be NOAA 13359, a beta/D-type active region in the southwest quadrant. It has been the source of several C-class flares since the last message, as well as an M4.0 flare at 06:17 UT today. Further intermediate level activity likely over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 13359 on 7-Jul-2023 at 11:30 UT is:
S21W22, ( 331", -388" )
