Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 13373 decayed slightly in terms of sunspot area over the past 24 hours, but it has remained a beta/E-type sunspot group classification. Both NOAA 13372 (a beta/C-type group) and NOAA 13373 produced C-class flares in the period. However, the new region rotating over the South East limb - now designated as NOAA 13380 - has again produced C-class activity. This new region (NOAA 13380) has not completely rotated its trailing spots onto the visible disk, but it appears to have at least a beta magnetic classification and its main leading spot has a well-formed mature penumbra (so either a C- or D-type Zurich classification). The default target switches to NOAA 13380. More C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period, with a chance for a low M-class flare.
