Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
There were three B class flares in the past 24 hours with the largest - a B9 event - coming from NOAA 11236/11239, now behind the limb. The still unnumbered region on the north-east limb produced a smaller B class flare and will continue to be todays target. Although it is difficult to say due to its position, this region shows signs of small sunspots with some dense field regions, though STEREO B images suggest it may have entered its decay phase.
The position of the targetĀ on 28-Jun-2011 at 16:30 UT is:
N15E69 ( -850", 229" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
