Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. The target region at the North West limb has continued to be the source of C-class activity in the form of three flares that included the largest flare in the period - a C2.7 on 19-Oct-2023 at 13:52 UT. This limb location remains as the target for the next 24-hour period because the three spotted regions on disk have all shown signs of decay and were unremarkable in terms of flaring. More low C-class flares are probable over the following 24-hour period.
The approximate position of this region on 19-Oct-2023 at 18:00 UT is:
N23W90 , ( 886", 374" )
