Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at low levels. There has been B-level activity from several on-disk regions including a new region currently behind the southeast limb. NOAA 12957, now a beta region, has undergone significant flux emergence since the last message and shall continue as the target region. Further B-level activity likely with chance for an isolated C-class flare if the region continues to develop.
The position of NOAA 12957 on 1-Mar-2022 at 20:30 UT is:
S16E37, ( -561", -171" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
