Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly diminished since the last message. A number of flares were produced in the last 24 hours, the largest being an M1.0 at 11:06 UT today from NOAA 13697. This region continues to show signs of emerging flux and some limited signs of dynamic sunspot behaviour. The Major Flare Watch will be extended for a further 24 hours with NOAA 13697 as the target region. Further C- and M-class activity is expected, with a slight chance for an isolated >M5 flare.
The position of NOAA 13697 on 31-May-2024 at 11:30 UT is:
S18E42, (-603",-284")
