Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event since the last message was a C4.6 flare at 15:34 UT yesterday produced by NOAA 14012. 14012 also produced four ~C2.0 flares during the period. It has been designated as a beta-gamma/ E-type configuration with increasing the sunspot area and number of spots. Today the target will switch to this region. Please note that a newly emerged region, NOAA 14016 (S25E43, beta/B-type), also produced four ~C1.5 flares. Yesterday's target NOAA 14007 has lost its delta spot and continues to be flare quiet. C-class flares are expected from various regions in the next 24-hour period.
The position of NOAA 14012 on March 5 at 08:30 UT is:
S13E28 (-444", -111")
