Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at the B-level with events from NOAA 12859, NOAA 12860, and a new ERF in the northeast quadrant. NOAA 12860 has continued to develop and shall remain the target region. The region retains its beta configuration but continues to undergo flux emergence in its core. Further B-level activity likely with chance for an isolated C-class flare.
The position of NOAA 12860 on 26-Aug-2021 at 11:30 UT is:
S27E21, ( -304", -526" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
