MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2955 was mostly unchanged and was mostly quiescent. STEREO-A images show two regions about to begin southeastern limb passage in the location of the return of old NOAA regions 2939 (S17) and 2944 (S26). Both regions were the source of occulted minor B-class events. The largest was a B3.1 at 02/15/11:36 UT produced by the region located at S26. No significant solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2955 on February 25 at 17:30 UT is: N15E25 (Solar X = -397", Solar Y = 356")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
Regards,
