Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
There were two C-class events since the last message.
NOAA 1226 produced a C1.7 at 05/31/05:53 and NOAA 1227
produced a C1.8 at 05/31/04:43 UT. Both regions are slowly
decaying. The target region will continue to be 1226 but if
possible, include 1227 within your F-O-V.
The position of NOAA 1226 on May 31 at 10:30 UT is:

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1226 and 1227 were the source of several C-class events
since the last message. The largest was a C8.7 event at
05/29/21:15 UT. Its source region was NOAA 1227 located
just east of NOAA 1226. Both regions have beta-gamma
magnetic configurations. Additional C-class activity expected
with a slight chance of an M-class event in the next 24 hours.
If possible, include both 1226 and 1227 within your F-O-V.
The position of NOAA 1226 on May 30 at 10:30 UT is:

The position of 1226/1227 on May 30 at 10:30 UT is:
S20E55 (Solar X = -730", Solar Y = -316")

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, NOAA 1226, was the source of countless
C-class events and two M-class events (M1.1 at 05/28/21:50
and an M1.4 at 05/29/10:30 UT). The M1.4 event was associated
with a large CME blasting off the east limb. 1226 has a D-type
sunspot group with a beta-gamma magnetic configuration.
C-class events certain with a good chance for another M-class
event as well in the next 24 hours. A region located just east
of 1226 at S19E75 appears to have reversed polarity.
The position of NOAA 1226 on May 29 at 15:00 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, now numbered NOAA 1226, was the source of
numerous C-class events since the last message. The largest
was a C8.3 at 05/28/03:15 UT. The region is currently classified
as a D-type sunspot group with a beta magnetic configuration
but there is a possible magnetic delta developing in the
trailing portion of the region. C-class events expected with a
good chance of an M-class event as well. If the delta develops,
there is a chance of an M-class event = or > than M5.
The position of NOAA 1226 on May 28 at 10:30 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The target region, now numbered NOAA 1223, produced a few B-class
events since the last message. The target region will switch to a
new region located on the SE limb. This region is too close to the
limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but it has
bright H-alpha plage and is currently displaying active surging.
B-class events expected with a good chance of C-class activity
as well in the next 24 hours.
The position of the SE limb target on May 27 at 14:45 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity increased somewhat with the rapid development
later in the period of an EFR located in the SE quadrant.
The EFR was the source of a C1.1 event at 05/25/21:03 and
the C1.4 event at 05/25/21:58 UT. The region is still in
growth phase. B-class activity probable with the chance of
another C-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of the target EFR on May 26 at 06:15 UT is:
S15E26 (Solar X = -403", Solar Y = -226")

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. There were only 4 low level
B-class events in the past 24 hours. Two were produced
by target region NOAA 1220 before it rotated over the west
limb. The other two B-class events were produced by new
target region NOAA 1218. 1218 is currently spotless but
is the brightest H-alpha plage on the visible disk. Solar flare
activity is expected to continue at a very low level with no
change expected anytime soon.

24 hours were only two minor B-class events from target region
NOAA 1220 on the west limb. Solar flare activity is expected
to continue at a very low level for the next 24 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low. The target will switch to an EFR
located in the northwest quadrant. The EFR is displaying bright
H-alpha plage and dark arch-type filaments. It currently has a
simple beta magnetic configuration. B-class events possible
with a chance of a C-class event in the next few days
if development continues.
