MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 1778, S17W22, has decayed significantly
since the last message. It is now nearly spotless. 1778 did
manage to produce a C1.5 event at 06/30/09:18 UT. Recently
emerged NOAA 1781 slowly developed a D-type/beta-gamma sunspot group
yesterday and will become today's default target.
1781 was the source of a minor C1.1 event at 06/29/16:09 UT.
Another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1781 on June 30 at 13:00 UT is:
N22W26 (Solar X = 384", Solar Y = 315")

MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 1778 developed a negative polarity sunspot
just north and slightly east of the original positive
polarity leader. The region has decayed somewhat
in its trailing area. 1778 remains classified as an E-type/beta
region. 1778 was the source of a C1.6 event at 06/28/17:05 UT.
The brightest region on the visible disk is recently emerged
NOAA 1781 located at N22W12. It is currently classified
as a D-type/beta region. The target will continue to be NOAA
1778. A C-class event is possible from 1778 and/or 1781 in
the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1778 on June 29 at 13:00 UT is:

1778 has decayed since the last message
losing its beta-gamma magnetic configuration. Another
C-class event is possible in the next 24 hour period.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity remains at a very low level. The
target region (NOAA 1775, S26W78) continues to
decay. NOAA 1778 has minor emerging flux within its
trailing plage area which is adding to its magnetic
complexity resulting in an E-type/beta-gamma classification.
The target region will switch from 1775 to 1778 today.
1778 was the source of a minor C1.2 event at 06/27/08:14 UT.
Another C-class event is possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 1778 on June 27 at 13:00 UT is:

Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. All regions
on the visible disk are currently in advanced decay phase.
Target region NOAA 1775 was able to produce minor events
since the last message. The largest was a C1.0 at
06/25/23:57 UT. No significant change in the level of
solar flare activity expected anytime soon.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity has returned to a very low level.
All regions on the visible solar disk are decaying.
NOAA 1778 has significantly decayed after it produced
the M2.9 and C9.9 events. The most active region in
the past 24 hours was NOAA 1775. 1775 is currently
classified as a C-type/beta-gamma region. It was the
source of two minor C-class events. We will switch
from 1778 to 1775 today. Another C-class event is possible.
The position of NOAA 1775 on June 25 at 13:00 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Southeastern NOAA region 1778 was the source of an isolated
M2.9 event at 06/23/20:56 UT. It also produced a C9.9 event
at 06/24/11:32 UT. NOAA 1778 is currently classified as a
D-type/beta- gamma region with a possible small delta configuration
emerging in the southern portion of the leader sunspot. Another M-class
event is possible in the next 24 - 48 hours.

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains low. Most of the NOAA numbered
regions on the solar disk showed marginal growth in spot area over
the previous 24 hours, but little sign of evolution. NOAA 11775 is
now classified by NOAA as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group, after
previously being a beta-delta/D-type sunspot group. The only flare
since yesterday's message was a C1.5 (on 22-Jun-2013 at 17:31 UT)
originating from NOAA region 11773. The target region will remain
the same as yesterday, although it is yet to rotate over the South
East limb. C-class activity is possible in the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of this region on 23-Jun-2013 at 13:00 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Yesterday's target region NOAA 11777
has increased in spot area, is now classified as a beta/C-type sunspot
group, but has been quiet since producing the M2.9 flare on 21-Jun-2013
at 02:30 UT. A new region is located just over the South East limb and
was the source of a C2.1 flare on 21-Jun-2013 at 21:00 UT. This region
is the return of that previously numbered as NOAA 11762, which produced
several M-class events and achieved a maximum magnetic complexity of
beta-gamma-delta on its last disk passage. Further C-class events are
probable in the next 24 hours, with a small chance for an isolated low
M-class event.
The approximate position of this region on 22-Jun-2013 at 13:00 UT is:

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low-to-moderate level. Yesterday's target region
has now been designated as NOAA 11777 with an alpha/H-type sunspot group
classification. This region appears to have a dominant negative-polarity
leading spot with one or two negative-polarity intermediate spots, and a
positive-polarity trailing plage (i.e., a reversed magnetic polarity for
the southern hemisphere). NOAA 11777 was the source of an M2.9 flare on
21-Jun-2013 at 02:30 UT. C-class activity is expected over the following
24 hours, with a chance for another low M-class event.
