Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at the C-level since the last message,
with events from both NOAA 13176 and NOAA 13180. The largest event was
a C9.1 flare from NOAA 13180 at 21:37 UT yesterday. NOAA 13180 has
undergone negative flux emergence along the trailing edge of the
northern positive polarity sunspot and shall remain the target region
for a further 24 hours. Additional C-level activity possible.
The position of NOAA 13180 on 1-Jan-2023 at 16:30 UT is:
N19E46, ( -665", 352" )
