Solar activity is at a low level. Target NOAA 13190 has decayed
slightly in sunspot area since the last message but it remained
classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. This region was
flare-quiet in the period, but appears to now have a delta spot
configuration due to the small positive polarity spot that is on
the northern edge of the primary negative polarity spot. More
C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance
for an M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target NOAA 13196 slowed in
its flux emergence shortly after the last message, achieving a
beta/D-type sunspot group classification. This region produced
three C-class flares in the period, the largest being a C3.6 on
19-Jan-2023 at 19:32 UT. The most flare-productive region was
NOAA 13190 with five C-class flares that included the largest
magnitude event in the period, a C6.7 flare on 20-Jan-2023 at
01:34 UT. The target now returns to NOAA 13190, which remains
classed as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. Further C-class
activity is expected in the following 24-hour period, with a
chance for an isolated M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 13190 was
relatively stable in terms of sunspot area and complexity since the
last message, remaining classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot
group and producing just a single flare in the period - a C7.3 on
19-Jan-2023 at 05:26 UT. Newly numbered region NOAA 13196 emerged
yesterday to the East of NOAA 13192 and has already produced three
C-class and two M-class events, the largest being an M1.7 flare on
19-Jan-2023 at 10:06 UT (which was also the largest magnitude flare
in the period). The target will now change to NOAA 13196 as it is
still emerging magnetic flux, and there are another two small spot
regions that are in the process of emerging near to it in the North
East quadrant. Additional C-class flares are expected over the next
24 hours, with a good chance for more M-class activity.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13192
decayed since since the last message, decreasing slightly in spot
area and losing its internal mixing designation to be classified
as a beta/F-type sunspot group. This region has produced several
C-class flares in the period but NOAA 13190 produced the largest
flares, including two M1.8 flares on 17-Jan-2023 at 23:16 UT and
18-Jan-2023 at 10:21 UT. This increase in activity by NOAA 13190
comes despite losing its delta-spot designation (now classified
as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group). The target changes now to
NOAA 13190. Further C-class activity is expected in the following
24-hour period, with a good chance for additional M-class flares.

Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 13191 has
grown in spot area since the last message but decreased in its
magnetic complexity to be designated as a beta/D-type sunspot
group. This region has been flare-quiet in the period. Nearby
region NOAA 13192 has increased in spot area and overall size
to be classified as a beta-gamma/F-type sunspot group, and was
the source of two C-class events - the largest being a C9.4 on
17-Jan-2023 at 00:02 UT that was also the largest flare in the
period. The target switches to NOAA 13192. More C-class flares
are expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for an
isolated M-class flare.

The level of solar activity is moderate. The target region NOAA
13191 has grown slightly in spot area in its interior since the
last message and is designated as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot
group. This region has continued to produce flaring, being the
source of several mid-to-high C-class events, the largest being
a C8.3 on 15-Jan-2023 at 12:07 UT. The largest magnitude flare
in the period came from NOAA 13190 (an M4.9 on 15-Jan-2023 at
14:16 UT), but the target will remain on NOAA 13191 - this is
due to the proximity of a newly emerging sunspot region to the
North East of NOAA 13191 that has also produced C-class events.
Further C-class activity is expected in the following 24-hour
period, with a good chance for more M-class flares.

Solar activity continues at moderate levels. The largest event since
the last message was an M6.0 flare at 01/15/03:08 UT produced by
the target NOAA 13191. 13191 has been classified as a beta/D-type
configuration with an increase in the sunspot area and number of
spots. Please note that NOAA 13182 (S18W53, beta-gamma/D-type)
produced two low M-class flares (M3.5 and M4.6) and nine C-class
flares in the past 24 hours. If possible, please also include NOAA 13192
(N19E56, beta/D-type) in your field of view. M-class flares are still
expected in the next 24-48 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at moderate levels. The largest event since
the last message was an M4.0 flare at 01/13/10:05 UT produced by
a southwest limb region (should be NOAA 13181, almost beyond the
limb). Yesterday's target NOAA 13186 has been flare quiet and was
designated as a beta-gamma/E-type configuration. Today we will end
the Major Flare Watch campaign and the target will switch to a newly
numbered limb region NOAA 13191 (N12E66, beta/C-type), which has
produced an M1.3 flare at 01/14/01:28 UT and also three C-class flares.
If possible, please also include NOAA 13192 (N19E70, beta/D-type) in
your field of view, which has produced two high-level C-class flares.
Additional low M-class flares are probable in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at moderate levels for the past 24 hours. The
largest event during the period was an M1.4 flare at /01/13/02:53 UT
produced by the target region NOAA 13186. 13186 also produced four
C-class flares and was designated as a beta-gamma/E-type configuration
with increasing sunspot area and number of spots. NOAA 13182 (S18W25,
beta-gamma/E-type) also produced two M1 flares and four C-class flares.
NOAA 13181 (S19W79, beta-gamma/E-type) produced an M1.2 flare.
We will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign for a further 24 hours.
Low M-class flares are still expected with some chance of an >M5 flare in
the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been at moderate levels. The Major Flare Watch target
NOAA 13186 produced two low M-class flares (M1.1 at 01/12/05:53 UT
and M1.6 at 06:33 UT) in the past 24 hours. 13186 retains its beta-delta/
D-type configuration but increases in the sunspot area and number of
spots. Some other regions, NOAA 13184 (S13E35, beta-gamma-delta/
E-type), 13181 (S18W66, beta-gamma/E-type), and 13182 (S17W13,
beta-gamma/E-type), produced several C-class flares. We will continue
the Major Flare Watch today as 13186 still has the potential to produce
another >M5 flare.
