Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. Several
flares were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being an M1.0 from
NOAA 13976 at 05:48 UT today. NOAA 13976 has developed into a
beta-gamma-delta region and has produced 13 flares since the last message.
This region shows signs of significant flux emergence and very dynamic
sunspot behaviour. At this time we are implementing a Major Flare Watch
with NOAA 13976 as the new target region - attention should also be paid to
NOAA 13977 and 13978 given their proximity. Additional C- and M-class
activity is expected, with a slight chance for >M5.0 activity in the next
24-48 hours.

Solar activity continues at a low-intermediate level. A number of flares
were produced over the last 24 hours, the largest being a C6.5 from NOAA
13967 at 22:27 UT yesterday. The group of active regions in the northeast
quadrant continues to show signs of sunspot development and flux emergence.
While NOAA 13977 will continue as the target region, attention should also
be paid to the two additional regions in close proximity to NOAA 13977.
Further C-class activity is expected in the coming 24 hours, with a slight
chance of isolated low M-class activity.

Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message. Several
flares were produced, the largest being an M1.7 at 19:41 UT yesterday from
NOAA 13977. NOAA 13976, 13977, and 13978 appear clustered in the northeast
quadrant and show signs of notable flux as they move further onto the disk.
NOAA 13977 is now classified as a beta-gamma region and shall be the new
target region. Further C-class activity is likely with the chance for
further isolated low M-class events.

Solar activity has persisted at an intermediate-low level since the last
message. The previous target region is now resolved as a pair of active
regions numbered NOAA 13976 and NOAA 13977, respectively. NOAA 13976
produced the largest flare of the last 24 hours, which was a C4.9 at 13:03
UT today. This region continues to show signs of emerging flux as it moves
further onto the disk. NOAA 13976 will now be the target region, with
further C-class activity expected.

Solar activity is at an intermediate-low level. The largest flare produced
in the last 24 hours was an occulted M2.7 from a currently unnumbered
active region over the northeast limb at 07:52 UT today. This region
currently shows signs of large flux in short wavelength emission. Given
that NOAA 13961 has almost passed beyond the southwest limb and given the
additional activity at the northeast limb, the target region will switch to
the northeast limb. Further C-class is likely with a chance for additional
(partially occulted) M-class flares.
The approximate position of the target region on 27-January-2025 at 11:30
UT is:

Solar activity has returned to an intermediate level. The largest
event since the last message was a C5.4 flare at 17:16 UT
yesterday from the target region NOAA 13961. This region also
produced six low-C flares as it transited up to the South West
limb, which retained its high flare productivity and a beta-gamma/E-type
magnetic configuration. NOAA 13961 shall still be the target.
More C-class activity is expected, with a chance for high-C flare
in the next 24 hours.

NOAA 13961 was the source of most flares since the last
message, with the largest magnitude being an M2.7 flare at
20:48 UT yesterday. 13961 retained a beta-gamma/E-type
sunspot group as it rotated toward the South West limb, with
emerging new negative fluxes in its following portion. Today the
target shall remain with NOAA 13961. Further C-class activity is
expected, with a chance for another low-M flare in the following
24 hours.

past 24 hours. The largest event was an eruptive C9.9 flare
at 11:43 UT today from an unnumbered region beyond the
South East limb (S17E88). The target region NOAA 13961
has decayed further but produced two >C5 flares, including
its largest - a C8.0 flare at 16:27 UT yesterday. 13961 was
stable in the classification as a beta-gamma/E-type, with its
following spots fragmenting. Today the target shall continue
as NOAA 13961. Further C-class activity is expected, with a
chance for a low-M flare in the subsequent 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to an intermediate level since the
last message. NOAA 13961 produced the largest event - a C9.2
flare at 01:56 UT today. This region has retained a beta-gamma/E-type
magnetic configuration and experienced significant flux emergence
ahead of its leader spot. Today the target shall switch to NOAA
13961 due to its high magnetic complexity and overall size of
700 μh. Yesterday’s target NOAA 13967 (S16W09, beta/C-type)
remains quiescent. Further C-class activity is expected, with an
isolated low-M flare likely in the coming 24 hours.

Solar activity has continued at a moderate level. The largest
event since the last message was an M1.4 flare at 10:44 UT
today from a spotless region (S16W15), accompanied by a
filament eruption. This region was just between the target region
NOAA 13967 and NOAA 13961. 13967 has increased in the
magnetic complexity to a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group,
although it was flare-quiet in the past 24 hours. 13961 (S10W29,
beta-gamma/E-type) lost a delta configuration but was the most
productive, with its largest magnitude being a C7.2 flare at 06:24
UT today. Today the target shall remain with NOAA 13967 (with
NOAA 13961 in the field of view). Further C-class activity is expected,
with an isolated low-M flare probable in the next 24 hours.
