Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest
event was a C1.0 flare at 03:54 UT today from NOAA
13405, which is almost rotating beyond the west limb.
Yesterday’s target (S05E89) was quiescent in the period.
NOAA 13413 on the disk retains its beta/D-type magnetic
configuration and has increased in sunspot area and
counts. Today the target region shall switch to NOAA 13413.
B-class activities are expected with low C-class flares
probable in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has been at moderate-to-low levels. The largest
event was a long-duration M1.1 flare at 21:30 UT on
26-Aug-2023 from a southeast limb region (unnumbered yet).
Today the target region shall switch to this region. Yesterday’s
target (NOAA 13405) was only the source of a few low-C flares
with magnetic signs of decay. More C-class activities are
probable in the next 24 hours with a slight chance of another
low M-class flare.

Solar activity has decreased since the last message. The largest event
was a C5.0 flare at 15:40 UT on 25-Aug-2023 from NOAA 13405. This
region has been classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group, increasing
in magnetic complexity. It also produced a low-C flare plus two
B-class flares and continued to be the most flare-productive region.
Today the target region shall switch to NOAA 13405. Yesterday’s target
(NOAA 13415) was flare quiet although it was classified as a
beta-delta/D-type. In addition, NOAA 13413 (beta/D-type, N11E09) and
NOAA 13416 (alpha/H-type, S19E64) were also the sources of a few low-C
and B-class flares. Additional C-class activities are expected from
various regions in the next 24 hours with a slight chance of a low
M-class flare.

Solar activity has reached a moderate level. The largest
event since the last message was a M1.5 flare at 00:56 UT
today from NOAA 13415. This region was still classified
as a beta/D-type configuration and emerged a new sunspot.
Today the target region shall switch to NOAA 13415.
Yesterday’s target (NOAA 13413) has been quiescent over
the period. Please note that NOAA 13405 (alpha/H-type,
N09W68) and NOAA 13403 (N29W86) also produced several
low-C and B-class flares. More C-class activities are expected
from various regions in the next 24 hours with a slight chance
of another low M-class flare.

Solar activity has returned to low levels since the last
message. Yesterday’s target (NOAA 13405) produced the
largest event, a C3.9 flare at 13:54 UT on 23-Aug-2023,
but it was downgraded to an alpha/H-type configuration.
NOAA 13413 was the most productive in the period. It
has been classified as a beta/F-type sunspot group and
increased in sunspot area and emerged new spots. Today
the target region will switch to NOAA 13413. In addition,
NOAA 13415 (beta/D-type, S11E55) was also the source
of a few low C-class and B-class flares. More C-class
activities are probable in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has increased over the past 24 hours with
an M1.1 flare at 22:35 UT on 22-Aug-2023 produced by
NOAA 13405. This region also produced a C7.2 and
several low-C flares. It increased in the number of spots
and has been classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group.
Today the target region will switch to NOAA 13405.
Yesterday’s target was numbered as NOAA 13415
(alpha/H-type, S09E67) and was only the source of two
low C-class flares. Further C-class activities are expected
over the following 24-hour period, with a chance for an
additional low M-class flare.

Solar activity has reached an intermediate level. The largest event
since the last message was a C5.7 flare at 23:47 UT on 21-Aug-2023
from the target region. This region remains the highest frequency of
flaring and has also produced 5 low-C flares. It shows a high and
increasing current helicity. Today the target region shall continue at
this region. Please note that NOAA 13413 (N10E66, alpha/H-type)
and NOAA 13405 (N10W27, alpha/H-type) also produced several
low-C flares. Additional C-class activities are probable in the next
24 hours.

Solar activity remains at low levels. The largest event since the
last message was a C4.4 flare at 07:35 UT today from a southeast
limb region (unnumbered yet). This region also produced 6 low-C
flares and was the most productive. Today the target region will switch
to this limb region because of its recent higher frequency of flaring.
Yesterday’s target NOAA 13409 (N22W77, beta/B-type) has only
produced a low-C flare with signs of decay. In addition, some active
regions (NOAA 13406, NOAA 13407, NOAA 13403) and another
unnumbered region (N09E82) also produced a few low-C flares.
More C-class activities are probable in the following 24-hour period.

Solar activity has continued at a low level since the last message. A
small number of C-class flares were produced over the last 24 hours,
the largest being a C3.7 from NOAA 13409 at 06:43 UT today. No further
activity has been produced from the target region since the last
message and it appears to have further diminished in size. NOAA 13409
is currently classified as a beta type region and appears in close
proximity to NOAA 13403. The target region will switch to NOAA 13409
for the next 24 hours with potential for further C-class activity in
this region.

activity was produced from target region NOAA 13405 in the last 24
hours, this region has retained its beta configuration. NOAA 13405
will remain the target region for a further 24 hours with a slight
chance of C-class activity.
