Solar activity remains low. The largest event since the last message
was a C4.1 flare at 02:57 UT today, produced by the target region
NOAA 14384. This region was also the source of another seven low
C-class flares during the period. Today, NOAA 14384 will remain the
target region. Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24
hours.

Solar activity has declined to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the period was a C3.0 flare at 00:17 UT today,
produced by NOAA 14381. The target region NOAA 14384 produced
four low C-class flares during the period, the largest of which was a
C1.6 flare. Today, NOAA 14384 remains the target region due to
ongoing magnetic flux emergence and signs of partial sunspot
coalescence. Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24
hours.

Solar activity has decreased slightly since the last message.
The largest event during the period was a C4.5 flare at 04:29
UT today from NOAA 14384 (N10E70), a northeastern limb
region mentioned previously. This region also produced ten
additional low C-class flares during the period. Yesterday’s
target NOAA 14381 (N08E50) produced four low C-class
flares during the period, with the largest being a C2.7 flare.
Today, we will switch the target to NOAA 14384 due to its
flare history and ongoing flux emergence in its trailing portion.
Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message.
The largest event in the last 24 hours was a C6.1 flare at 01:55 UT
today(3/1) from the boundary area between NOAA 14380 and 14379.
Both regions appear to be in the decaying process.
The region having been behind the limb in the East of NOAA 14381,
the supposed source of several C class flares since yesterday, has
come into our view. This unnumbered region produced several C class
flares in the past 24 hours, with the largest being a C4.7 at 21:18
UT yesterday. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14381 produced 6 C class
flares in the period, including a C5.2 at 6:07 UT and a C5.9 at
7:30 UT today.
Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14381 at the central region
with mixed polarity between its leading and following sunspots.
Additional C class events are expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains low since the last message. The largest event
in the last 24 hours was a C6.5 flare at 02:56 UT today (2/28) from
the West side of the leading sunspot of NOAA 14380, but activity
from this region has reduced in the latest 12 hours.
The sunspot that rotated from the East limb (~N08 deg) yesterday
was registered as NOAA 14381. This region is reported as the source
of several low-C class flares, but some of them appear to come from
the area behind the limb rather than from the sunspot on the solar disk.
Today, we will switch the target to NOAA 14381 because of the recent
flare history. We will observe the East of the main sunspot so that
its Eastern extension is covered. Additional C class events are
expected.

17:00 UT is: N08E76 (-931", 169").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased from the last message.
The largest event in the last 24 hours was a C6.3 flare at 18:56 UT
yesterday (2/26) from the East limb (at ~5 deg. North), where a
medium-sized sunspot is coming into our view. This region is also
the source of a few low-C class flares including a C3.5 at 12:47 UT
today.
Yesterday's target, the Southeastern portion of NOAA 14379 has been
assigned a new number, NOAA 14380 and has begun to progress onto
the solar disk. This region consists of larger sunspots than NOAA
14379 with more magnetic complexity, having produced 6 low-C class
flares since the last message.
In the next 24 hours, we will continue to observe NOAA 14380, due
to the continuing flare activity for a couple of days. Additional C class
flares are expected from its trailing (positive polarity) sunspot.
The position of the target in NOAA 14380 on 27-February-2026 at
17:00 UT is: S19E68 (-848", -282").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reduced to a low level since the last message.
Yesterday's target, the Southeastern limb region, was assigned a
number as NOAA 14379. However, the flare activity from this region
has diminished since the M class events yesterday, only a few low-C
class flares were produced including a C1.9 at 23:56 UT yesterday.
The region from the Northeastern limb, now designated as NOAA
14378 remains flare-quiet in the past 24 hours.
Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14379, the area close to
the Southeastern limb, because of the flare history since yesterday.
Additional C class events are expected.

17:00 UT is: S20E81 (-895", -324").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been elevated to a moderate level since the last
message due to the flare activities from the region on the Southeast
limb. Although the sunspot associated with this region is not clearly
seen yet, this region has produced more than 20 low- to mid-C class
flares in the past 24 hours, with the largest being an M2.3 flare,
just occurred at 15:35 UT today (2/25).
There is a middle-sized sunspot rotated from the Northeastern limb,
which appears to be the returned NOAA 14366, the region produced an
X8.1 flare on 2/1. However, currently no flare is reported from this
Northeastern region.
Today we will continue to observe the Southeast limb region which has
no number assigned yet. Additional mid-C to low-M class events are
expected.
The position of the target on 25-February-2026 at 17:00 UT is:
S20E87 (-907", -333").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is increasing since the last message due to the
activities from the region behind the Southeast limb. The largest
event in the last 24 hours was a C3.0 flare at 12:06 UT today (2/24)
from the latitude range of S20 to S23 degrees on the Southeast limb.
(And another flare of nearly C4 class is ongoing as of this writing.)
Although currently no sunspot is visible from us, this region also
produced three more high-B to low-C class flares in the last 12 hours.
Yesterday's target located at S06W20 (remains unnumbered) has not
shown any flare activity since the last message.
Today we will switch the target to the Southeast limb region, because
of the recent flare history. Additional C class events or larger are
expected in the next 24 hours.

S21E89 (-901", -353").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level. The visible side of the solar
disk is currently spotless except short-lived tiny pores appeared with
some EUV bright points. The largest event in the last 24 hours was a
C1.5 flare at 15:26 UT yesterday (2/22) associated with a filament
eruption from the Southwest limb. The target region, NOAA 14377 has
lost sunspot area and keeps flare-quiet for a few days.
There are at least two bright regions rotated from the East limb at
the latitude of N18 and N03 degrees, respectively, however no sunspot
can be seen with them and currently not showing flare activity.
There is a spotless bipolar region near the disk center, which produced
a B5.0 flare at 02:43 UT today. This region also produced a B6.6
flare two days ago (2/21). In the next 24 hours, we will switch the
default target to observe this unnumbered region near the disk center.
The position of the target region on 23-February-2026 at 17:00 UT is:
S06W05 (97", 11").
