Solar activity continues to be at a low level since the last message.
NOAA 14299, the target of the current Major Flare Watch campaign
only produced 3 C class flares, although it maintains its size and
magnatic complexity (classified as a beta-gamma type). At this time,
we will halt the Major Flare Watch campaign with NOAA 14299.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C5.5 flare at 12:29 UT
today(12/3) from NOAA 14288. This region also produced a C5.4 flare
yesterday (at 20:32 UT) but now it has almost completed its Northwest
limb passage.
A large group of active regions, NOAA 14298, 14294 and 14296 are only
producing low C class flares, but maintains its magnetic complexity,
currently classified as beta, beta-delta and beta-gamma-delta type,
respectively). Most recent activity from this region is a C3.4 flare
at 15:47 UT from NOAA 14294 today. We will observe NOAA 14294 as a
default target in the next 24 hours, on its area of trailing (positive
polarity) sunspot.
The position of the target in NOAA 14294 on 3-December-2025 at
17:00 UT is: S15E27 (-433", -271").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has declined to a low level after the X1.9 event
yesterday(12/1). The source region of the X class flare, which is the
target of the current Major Flare Watch campaign, was numbered NOAA
14299, classified as a beta-gamma/D-type, but has been in a dormant
state after the X class event.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C4.8 flare at 21:06 UT
yesterday from the middle portion of NOAA 14294. This region maintains
the size over 1400 millionths and a beta-gamma-delta magnetic
configuration, even after the westernmost area of this region was
re-classified as an alpha-type sunspot with a new number, NOAA 14298.
NOAA 14298, 14294 and their eastern adjacent region NOAA 14296 forms
a huge active region group with a total size over 2000 millionths.
More than 10 low-to-mid C class flares were reported from this active region
group, however none of them has not exceeded a high-C level.
Today, we will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign for another 24
hours on NOAA 14299, expecting additional activities including an event
larger than M5.

17:00 UT is: N22E61 (-787", 375").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity had been low-to-moderate level until the end of
yesterday(11/30), but has been elevated earlier today because of an
X1.9 flare at 02:27 UT from the Northeastern limb. This yet unnumbered
region also produced 2 nearly-M class (C9.0 and C9.9) flares
yesterday.
The target region, NOAA 14294 further developed both in size and
magnetic complexity, now having reached over 1000 millionths and
classified as a beta-gamma-delta type. However, it produced only 3
low-to-mid C class flares during the past 24 hours. In the Eastern
proximity to this region, there is a moderate-sized bi-polar region
(500 millionths) rotated into our view and assigned as NOAA 14296,
having produced several mid-to-high C class flares since yesterday.
Today, our Major Flare Watch campaign will continue, but the target
will be switched to the yet unnumbered Northeastern limb region
anticipating additional flare activity larger than M5. However, close
attention should also be paid to the previous target, NOAA 14294,
because of its recent development in size and magnetic complexity.
The position of the target (unnumbered Northeast limb region) on
1-December-2025 at 16:30 UT is: N22E75 (-866", 374").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to a moderate-to-low level since the last
message. The largest event during the period was an M2.9 flare at
15:36 UT yesterday, produced by a northeast limb region (N19E89).
The target region, NOAA 14294, produced more than ten C-class
flares and two M1.4 flares during the period. Today, we will continue
the Major Flare Watch campaign on this region because of its flare
history and relatively large sunspot area (~800 μh). A major flare of
above M5.0 is still possible in the next 1-2 days.

Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last message.
The largest event in the period was an M5.9 flare at 22:11 UT yesterday,
produced by the limb target region, now numbered as NOAA 14294
(S16E71, see the SSW Latest Events entry

NOAA 14294 was the most
flare-productive region on the visible disk during the period, producing
more than ten C-class and three low M-class flares. At this time, we are
implementing the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14294. Additional
major flares of above M5.0 are likely over the next few days.

Solar activity has increased since the last message. Yesterday’s target
NOAA 14291 (S14W08) was flare-quiet during the period, although it
has developed into a beta-delta magnetic configuration. The largest
events in the period were two C5.1 flares from a southeast limb region
(unnumbered yet), which also produced more than ten additional low
C-class flares. Today we will switch the target to this limb region.
Further
C-class and low M-class activity is expected.
The approximate position of the target on November 28 at 12:30 UT is:

Solar activity remains at a low level. Target region NOAA 14291
(S14E05, beta–gamma/E-type) has produced several low C-class
flares since the last message, the largest being a C2.7 flare at
00:35 UT today. Most of these flares originated from its trailing
portion. NOAA 14291 will remain the target region for the next
24 hours, with continued attention to its trailing spots, which are
showing signs of flux emergence and dynamic movement. Further
C-class activity is expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message. The largest
event during the period was a C2.2 flare at 02:48 UT today from the
target region NOAA 14291 (S13E18). This region retains a beta–gamma
configuration and produced four additional C1–C2 flares during the period.
NOAA 14291 will remain the target region for the next 24 hours, with
particular attention on its trailing spots, which are showing signs of
strong
shearing and further flux emergence. NOAA 14292 (S16W41, beta/D-type)
was also the source of several C1–C2 flares in the period, including a C2.1
flare. Further C-class activity is expected.

message was a C1.6 flare at 21:46 UT yesterday from the target region
NOAA 14291 (S16E30). This region has further evolved into a beta-
gamma configuration and produced an additional C1.3 flare during the
period. NOAA 14291 will remain the target region for the next 24 hours.
Further C-class activity is expected.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity has remained low since the last message.
Several low C-class flares were produced by NOAA 14290 (S10E38,
beta/C-type) and the target region NOAA 14291 (S13E47, beta/E-type),
including the two largest events in the period (both C2.5), produced
by these two regions, respectively. NOAA 14291 will remain the target
region for the next 24 hours, with further C-class activity expected.
If possible, please also include NOAA 14290 in your field of view.
