Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has persisted at a low to moderate level. Multiple flares
have been produced since the last message, the largest being an M3.6 from
NOAA 14493 at 06:27 UT today. NOAA 14493 remains highly productive,
retaining its beta-gamma-delta classification and more than doubling in
size. While we are yet to see a major flare from this region, the high
level of flux and sunspot dynamism warrants the continuation of the major
flare watch campaign. The major flare watch will remain active for the next
24 hours. Further C- and low M-class activity is likely with a slight
chance for an isolated >M5.0 event.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased. Several flares were produced since
the last message, the largest being an M3.4 from newly numbered active
region NOAA 14493 at 22:15 UT yesterday. NOAA 14493 is a newly emerged
beta-gamma-delta type region showing significant signs of sunspot dynamism
and has produced all 16 flares of the last 24 hours, including two further
low M-class events. Elsewhere, NOAA 14492 has developed into a beta-gamma
region but has remained relatively quiet. Due to the rapid emergence,
significant development, and continued output of NOAA 14493 we will be
preemptively issuing a Major Flare Watch at this time with NOAA 14493 as
the target region. Further C and M-class activity is likely with a chance
for an isolated >M5.0 event in the next 24-48 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains low. A small number of flares were produced since
the last message, the largest being a C2.0 from an unnumbered active region
toward the disk centre (slightly above the listed position of NOAA 14491)
at 09:06 UT today. Newly numbered active region 14492 has rotated over the
northeastern limb and is likely associated with the recent flaring activity
in this region over the previous days. Currently, an accurate determination
of the complexity and size of NOAA 14492 requires the region to rotate
further onto the disk, however the region shows notable signs of emerging
flux. For now, NOAA 14492 will be the target region and should be monitored
for further activity. Additional C-class events are expected.

Solar activity remains at a very low level. A small number of flares were
produced since the last message, the largest being an occulted C1.6 at
15:40 UT yesterday. The active region beyond the northeastern limb was the
source region for all of the flares in the last 24 hours. The target region
will remain at the northeastern limb around the site of the occulted flare.
Further C-class activity is expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. A small number of flares were
produced since the last message, the largest being a C2.3 from NOAA 14489
at 03:56 UT today. Additionally, a C2.3 and further B-class flares were
produced from an active region currently beyond the northeastern limb. NOAA
14489 has shown a change in complexity and signs of potential further
activity and should be monitored. However, the target region will switch to
the northeastern limb around the site of the cluster of C- and B-class
flares. Additional low C-class activity is anticipated.

Solar activity has turned back to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the period was a C5.3 flare at 21:19 UT yesterday
(7/16) from the target region located on the Southeast limb.
A small sunspot rotated from the Southeast limb (S11E54) was assigned
the number, NOAA 14491, but the recent flare activities appear to
have come from the plage region extending close to the limb.
In the next 24 hours, we will continue to monitor this plage region
on the Southeast limb, expecting additional C-class events with
eruption.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is increasing due to the activities from the region
located behind the Southeast limb, with the largest being a C8.9
eruptive flare at 20:46 UT yesterday (a link to the movie of this
event shown below). This region appears to be the source of the C3.9
flare on 7/14, as well as 3 low-to-mid C class flares reported in the
last 24 hours. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14489 produced a C1.5 flare
at 18:03 UT yesterday (7/15), but has quietened since then.

Today, we will switch the target to the Southeast limb region yet
unnumbered to monitor the additional flares of a high-C class.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains low since the last message. The largest event
in the period was a C3.3 flare at 8:31 UT today (7/15) produced by
NOAA 14489. There were two other C class events (C1.2 at 2:38 UT
and C1.1 at 4:37 UT), both came from behind the limb. The former was
an eruptive event from NOAA 14485 now located behind the SouthWest
limb, while the latter was from the region that produced a C3.9 flare
yesterday, being still behind the SouthEast limb. The target region
NOAA 14482 reduced its sunspot area, only produced a B class event.
Today, we will switch the target to NOAA 14489, at the Northeast side
of the sunspot, where the C3.3 flare initiated.

15:00 UT is: S06E45 (-674", -151").

Solar activity continued to be at a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the period was a C3.9 flare at 12:18 UT today
(7/14) from the region behind the Southeast limb. The region rotated
from the Southeast limb yesterday was assigned the number as NOAA
14489, but the flare activity of this region has somewhat settled for
the last 12 hours.
The target region, NOAA 14482 produced a C1.5 flare at 9:49 UT today,
which is the second largest event in the period. The EUV loops
emanated from its sunspot are persistently connected with the nearby
plage regions and with NOAA 14487, a Northern neighboring region.
Today we will continue to observe the umbra of NOAA 14482, expecting
additional C class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 14482 on 14-July-2026 at
15:30 UT is: S09W52 (738", -192").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reduced to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the period was a C1.2 flare at 22:48 UT yesterday
(7/12) from the Southwest limb over the target region, NOAA 14485.
This region has been the main source of flares in the past 24 hours
but will be out of our view in the next 24 hours.
A unipolar region rotated from the Southeast limb is showing minor
activity (2 B class flares) since yesterday, but it is not clear yet
whether the activity persits. NOAA 14482 holds the largest sunspot on
the disk, from which some EUV loops extend to the North neighboring
region, NOAA 14487. Although currently no flare is reported from this
region, some interacting activity with 14487 is expected. Today we will
observe NOAA 14482 as a new default target, expecting the activity of
C class.
The position of the target in NOAA 14482 on 13-July-2026 at
16:30 UT is: S08W39 (592", -187").
