Solar activity has decreased to a moderate-to-low level since the last
message. The largest event during the period was a C6.7 flare at 19:02
UT yesterday from the target region NOAA 14524 (N12E46, beta/D-type).
14524 also produced a C6.5 flare at 10:24 UT today. Today, we will
continue to watch NOAA 14524 as the target region. Further C-class
activity is expected, with a slight chance of an isolated low M-class flare
in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has remained at a moderate level since the last message.
The largest event during the period was an M1.2 flare at 07:45 UT today
from the target region NOAA 14524 (N12E59, alpha/H-type). 14524 also
produced seven C-class flares during the period, including C7.9 and C7.1
flares, and showed an increase in sunspot area. NOAA 14523 (N10E29,
beta/C-type) produced three C-class flares, including a C6.9. Today, we
will continue to watch NOAA 14524 as the target region. Further C-class
activity is expected, with a chance of additional low M-class activity in
the
next 24 hours.

Solar activity has reached moderate levels since the last message.
The largest event during the period was an M3.0 flare at 18:57 UT
yesterday from the limb target region, which has now been designated
NOAA 14524 (N12E71, alpha/H-type). 14524 also produced four
additional low C-class flares and several mid-to-high B-class flares
during the period. NOAA 14523 (N11E42, beta/C-type) also became
active, producing three low C-class flares, together with several mid-
B-class flares in the period. Today, we will continue with NOAA 14524
as the target region. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance
of additional low M-class activity in the following 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased slightly since the last message. Yesterday's
target region, NOAA 14520 (S12W27, beta/D-type), produced only a
B7.9 flare during the period and has decayed noticeably. The largest
event in the period was a C5.7 flare at 21:04 UT yesterday from an
unnumbered north east limb region (N12E80). This limb region also
produced a C1.1 flare and two mid-B-class flares during the period.
Today, the target will switch to this north east limb region. Further C-
class activity is expected in the following 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on Sep. 2 at 11:30 UT is:

Solar activity remains at a very low level. The largest event during the
period was a C1.1 flare at 08/31/17:56 UT from NOAA 14517 (N10W88).
14517 also produced several mid-to-high B-class flares during the period,
but has now rotated completely over the west limb, with overlying loops
visible above the limb. The target region NOAA 14520 (S12W14, beta/
D-type) produced only three mid-to-high B-class flares during the period,
but showed increases in both sunspot area and spot number. Today, we
will continue to watch NOAA 14520 as the target region. Further C-class
activity is expected in the following 24 hours.

Solar activity remains at a very low level. Yesterday's target region
NOAA 14517 produced only one B6.8 flare since the last message
and is now almost entirely over the west limb. The largest event
during the period was a C2.6 flare at 08/31/15:09 UT from NOAA
14520 (S12W01; beta/D-type). This region also produced two
additional ~C1 flares during the period. Today, we will switch the
target region to NOAA 14520. In addition, an unnumbered active
region near the east limb (N18E87) produced two ~C1 flares and
one B8.6 flare during the period. Additional C-class activity is
expected in the following 24 hours.

since the last message was a C2.2 flare at 08/30/16:41 UT
from the previous target NOAA 14513 (N04W70) that retains
a beta/D-type configuration. The target region NOAA 14517,
having a beta/E-type sunspot group, was flare quiet during the
period. It is rotating over the west limb. Today we will continue
to watch this region, for a final 24 hours. If possible, please
also include NOAA 14513 in the field of view. Additional C-class
activity is expected in the following 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event
since the last message was a C3.0 flare at 01:10 UT today from
a northeast limb region (N11E88). NOAA 14517 was the source
of two C1 flares plus five high B-class flares, which has a beta/
E-type configuration. Today we will switch the target to NOAA 14517.
The previous target NOAA 14513 (N04W60) has been downgraded
to a beta/D-type region, decreasing in the sunspot area and number
of spots significantly. Additional C-class activity is expected from
NOAA 14517 and also the northeast limb region.

NOAA 14513 only produced a C1.1 flare at 04:12 UT today,
plus three high B-class flares. 14513 has been reclassified
as a complex beta-gamma-delta configuration but it continues
to decrease in the sunspot area and number of spots. Additional
C-class activity is expected in the following 24-hour period.

yesterday, plus five C-class flares. 14523 has been downgraded
to a beta-gamma/D-type region, decreasing in the sunspot area
and number of spots. Today we will end the Major Flare Watch
campaign but continue to watch NOAA 14513. C-class activity
is expected with some chance of low M-class flare in the next
24 hours.
