Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event
since the last message was a C3.4 flare at 00:47 UT produced
by NOAA 14006 (N19W54) which has a beta/C-type configuration.
14006 was also the source of two C2 flares during the period.
Please note that NOAA 14012 (S13E42) was the source of six
low C-class flares including a C3.1. 14012 has been designated
as a beta-gamma/D-type region. The target region NOAA 14007
was flare quiet over the past 24 hours but it has been designated
as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type region, continuing to increase the
sunspot area. Today we continue to watch NOAA 14007 for a
further 24 hours. C-class flares are expected from various regions
in the following 24 hours.

Solar activity continues at a very low level. The largest event
since the last message was a C2.4 flare at 20:57 UT produced
by NOAA 14007. 14007 was also the source of another three
low C-class flares. This region retains a beta/D-type configuration
but increased the sunspot area prominently. Today the target
will switch to NOAA 14007. Please note that previous target
NOAA 14006 also produced three ~C1 flares in the period.
Yesterday's target has been numbered as NOAA 14011, having
a beta/C-type configuration. It was flare quiet in the past 24 hours.
Further C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has been at a low level since the last message. The
largest event was a C9.6 flare at 22:44 UT on 3/1 from the Southeast
limb, but the source region is still unclear, as the sunspot is not
visible at the latitude of this event. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14006
further reduced the sunspot area with no record of flare activity.
Two new sunspots are emerging close to the Southeast limb at the
latitude range 10 to 20 degree South, both of which are yet unnumbered.
The Western spot located at the latitude 18 degree South repeats
several low-C class flares in the past 24 hours. Today, we will switch our
default target to this small region following this flare history.
Additional
C-class events are expected.

Dear Collaborators,
The Sun maintains its low-to-moderate activity level. A few new
regions have shown significant growth in sunspot area during the past
24 hours: NOAA 14007 in the Southwest quadrant and NOAA 14009 in
the Northeast quadrant, but they both are not showing strong flare activity
yet. The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C6.4 event at 8:20 UT
today (3/1) from another new region, NOAA 14010 in the Northeast
hemisphere.
Yesterday's target, NOAA 14006 significantly reduced its size (350 to
180 millionths) and produced several low-to-mid C class flares during
its decay. This region maintains the jet activity seen in EUV 304A from
the area of leading sunspots. We will continue to observe the leading
sunspots of NOAA 14006 as a default target for another 24 hours,
expecting additional C class events.

16:30 UT is: N18W17 (281", 420").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a low-to-moderate level. The largest
event in the past 24 hours was a C9.3 flare at 23:12 UT on 2/27 from
NOAA 13996 behind the Southeast limb. The target region NOAA
13998 produced 2 C class events and undergoing the limb passage
today.
NOAA 14006 is a region classified as a beta-gamma type (D-type),
currently transiting the North central meridian. Although no flare
activity is recorded in the past few days, its leading (positive)
area made of multiple sunspots is showing relative movements and
actively producing jets best seen in EUV 304A line. Today we will
observe the leading sunspots of NOAA 14006 as a default target,
expecting a few C class events.

16:30 UT is: N19W05 (82", 430").

MM#009 Default Target
Solar activity has been at a low-to-moderate level. The largest
event in the past 24 hours was a C7.5 flare from NOAA 13996
located in the Southeast of the target region NOAA 13998. This
region was activated since late yesterday has been producing more
than ten C class flares, but now undergoing the limb passage.
From the target region NOAA 13998, only C4.5 event was recorded
in the past 24 hours, but frequent brightening is occurring
associated with the flares from NOAA 13998. We will continues to
observe NOAA 13998 at the region of leading (negative) sunspot
for the next 24 hours, expecting additional C class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 13998 on 27-February-2025 at
16:30 UT is: S12W78 (929", -180").

Solar activity has declined to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C5.7 flare from NOAA
14007 in the Southeast quadrant. NOAA 14006 in the Northeast
quadrant significantly increased its area and magnetic complexity
yesterday but showing no flare record during the recent 24 hours.
The target region, NOAA 13998 has slightly decreased its area and
number of sunspots, but continues to interact with the trailing area
of NOAA 13996, having produced two low-to-mid C class flares.
We will continue to observe NOAA 13998 at the region of leading
(negative) sunspot, expecting additional C to low-M class events.
The position of the target in NOAA 13998 on 26-February-2025 at
16:30 UT is: S12W65 (861", -165").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a medium level. The largest event
in the past 24 hours was an M3.9 flare from behind the Southwest
limb, probably due to the eruption of the filament located between
NOAA 13990 and 13991 followed by a bright post-flare loop arcade.
The target region, NOAA 13998 has significantly increased its size
(from 290 to 430 millionths) and continues to show a sign of flux
emergence. This region produced 2 M class flares (M1.3 at 2:25 UT
and M3.6 at 11:20 UT both on 2/25) and the latter event occurred
between the leading negative sunspots and NOAA 13996's following
positive sunspots. Today we will continues to observe NOAA 13998
on the area of leading (negative) sunspot, expecting additional C to
M class events.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a medium level. An X2.0 flare was
produced from the West limb region, NOAA 14001 at 19:22 UT on 2/23,
followed by an M1.3 at 01:33 UT today. However, this region is now
located far behind the limb, and thus we do not select as the target
of the observations for the next 24 hours.
The second largest event was from an M3.3 event from NOAA 14000
at 06:53 UT today, but no other flare record so far. On the other hand,
yesterday's target, NOAA 13998 continues to show flare activity with
the largest being an M1.0 event at 16:18 UT on 2/23. Although this
region does not have a delta configuration anymore, its size is still
growing and showing dynamic sunspot motions. We will continues to
observe the center portion of NOAA 13998 for the next 24 hours.
Additional C to low-M class flares are expected.

Dear Colleagues,
Solar activity has increased to a medium level since the last message.
The largest event was an M4.9 event at 2:00 UT today(2/23) from NOAA
14001 approaching the West limb. This region produced 2 C8 class
flares yesterday and another M class flare today (M1.6 at 11:47 UT)
but will complete the limb passage today.
The target region, NOAA 14000 developed mix polarity in the following
sunspots and now classified as a beta-gamma-delta type. However, it
is kind of dormant with respect to flare activity with no flare record
in the past 24 hours. On the other hand, NOAA 13998 underwent
significant flux emergence with its size increased from 220 to 280
millionths during the past 24 hours. This region is producing more
than 10 C class flares and an M1.0 at 09:54 UT today, showing rapid
sunspot movements. Today we will observe NOAA 13998 at the region of
new sunspots for the next 24 hours.
