Solar activity continues to be low since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C2.8 flare at 23:55 UT
yesterday (9/17) from NOAA 14223 in the Southeast quadrant.
NOAA 14216 located near the disk center had a new flux emergence
and developed to a beta-gamma type, but kept flare-quiet in the past
24 hours.
The target region, NOAA 14220 continued to grow in both size and
number of sunspots and produced 6 low-C class flares since the last
message. There appeared EUV loops connecting this region to NOAA
14216 over the equator. Today we will continue to observe NOAA
14220 as the default target. Additional low-C class events or larger
are expected.
The position of the target in NOAA 14220 on 18-September-2025 at
16:30 UT is: S17W08 (136", -400").

Solar activity returned to a very low level since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C2.6 flare at 16:58 UT
yesterday (9/16) from NOAA 14216, while the target region, NOAA
14217 showed no flare activity since the last message.
NOAA 14220 is a bipolar region that emerged yesterday now approaching
the Southern central meridian. Although this region produced only low-C
class flares in the past 24 hours, it is worth noting that its trailing
(positive
polarity) sunspot appears to be larger and is located at lower latitude than
its leading portion. Today, we will switch the default target to this
region,
NOAA 14220.
The position of the target in NOAA 14220 on 17-September-2025 at
16:30 UT is: S17E04 (-67", -402").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continued to be low after the last message, but for the
recent several hours, the GOES/XRS background has been elevated
to a C3 level due to the new regions; one appeared from the Southeast
limb (yet unnumbered), and another NOAA 14220 emerged at S17E18.
The largest event reported in the past 24 hours was a C3.8 flare at
13:09 UT today (9/16) from NOAA 14220, while the Southeast region
has produced 5 C1 class flares and a C3.2 flare(12:12 UT today).
Yesterday's target, NOAA 14217 also produced 3 low-C class flares
since the last message.
Although these new regions are currently showing more activity than
the target region, it is still uncertain if they grow further or settle.
In the next 24 hours, our target remains to be NOAA 14217, on its
leading sunspot expecting additional C class flares.
The position of the target in NOAA 14217 on 16-September-2025 at
16:00 UT is: S15E49 (-696", -322").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C3.8 flare at 15:18 UT
yesterday(9/14) from the Southeast region, numbered as NOAA 14217.
This region produced several more low-C class flares in the last 24
hours, while the target region, NOAA 14216 only produced a C2.1 flares
at 9:52 UT today. Today, we will switch the target to NOAA 14217
because of the recent flare history. We will observe its leading
sunspot expecting additional C class events.

15:00 UT is: S14E61 (-814", -294").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity persists at a low level, only four numbered active regions
are currently viewable on the solar disk. The largest flare in the last 24
hours was a C3.5 from an unnumbered active region in the southeastern
quadrant of the solar disk at 09:27 UT today. While this unnumbered region
continues its transit onto the solar disk, the target region will remain as
NOAA 14216. Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.

Solar activity remains low. The largest flare of the last 24 hours was a
(partially occulted) C1.5 from an unnumbered active region in the
southeastern quadrant at 07:33 UT today. NOAA 14216 has traversed further
onto the disk, but has shown minimal additional activity since the last
message. However, NOAA 14216 will continue as the target region for the
next 24 hours. Additional low C-class activity is expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at a very low level. NOAA 14207 was the site of
several flares close to the solar limb, the largest being a C7.6 at 15:09
UT yesterday. NOAA 14213 has shown signs of decay, now classified as a beta
type region. Since the last message, this region has produced no new
flares. NOAA 14216 is a newly numbered active region on the northeastern
edge of the solar disk and shows notable emerging flux. Due to the
inactivity of NOAA 14213, the target region will switch to NOAA 14216 for
the coming 24 hours. Further C-class activity is anticipated.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a very low level. Further small flares were
produced, with the largest flare of the last 24 hours being a C1.5 from
NOAA 14207 at 05:55 UT today. While NOAA 14213 continues to be classified
as a beta-gamma type region, no flares have been produced from this region
since the last message. However, NOAA 14213 will remain the target region
for a further 24 hours due to the continued global low levels of activity.
Additional low C-class activity is expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is very low. Several small flares were produced, the largest
being a C1.6 from NOAA 14210 at 13:47 UT yesterday. NOAA 14213 remains
classified as a beta-gamma type region, however this region has produced
little activity since the last message. Further B-class and low C-class
activity is expected in the next 24 hours.

produced, the largest being a C1.5 from NOAA 14207 at 03:17 UT today. NOAA
14213 is now classified as a beta-gamma region and still shows reasonable
levels of sunspot activity. NOAA 14213 will continue as the target region,
further C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours.
