Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has diminished since the last message. The largest
event was a C7.9 flare at 14:03 UT yesterday from NOAA 13806
(S12W44, beta-gamma-delta/E-type). Target region NOAA 13807
(S15W91) has now rotated over the South West limb, with some
overlying loops visible above the limb. 13807 remained the most
flare-productive region in the period, being the source of over ten
C-class flares, including three high C-class flares (two C7.8 and
one C7.6). At this time, we are ending the Major Flare Watch but
NOAA 13807 shall remain the target region, as it rotates fully out
of view beyond the South West limb. Additional C-class activity is
expected, with a chance of low M-class flares in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has continued at a moderate level since the last message.
NOAA 13807 (S15W79) was the most flare-productive region on disk,
being the source of eight mid-C-class flares and five low-M-class flares
during the period, including the largest magnitude in the period - an M2.8
at 08:47 UT today. The Major Flare Watch shall switch to NOAA13807
before it completely rotates over the west limb. Yesterday's target NOAA
13813 (S23E28) remains classified as a beta-gamma region and produced
two M1 flares and three mid-C-class flares in the period. Please note that
NOAA 13806 (S12W30, beta-gamma-delta/E-type) and 13811 (S11E11,
beta/D-type) each produced an M1.2 flare in the period. Further low-M-
class activity is expected, with a chance of an isolated ≥M5 flare from
various regions in the next 24-48 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains at a moderate level. The target region
NOAA 13813 (S22E37) retains its beta-gamma configuration
with a slight increase in both the sunspot area and the number
of spots. The leading portion of this region shows mixed polarities
and has produced five low-M-class flares in the period, the largest
being an M3.3 on 3-Sep-2024 at 15:51 UT. The MM#003 Major
Flare Watch continues with NOAA 13813 as the target, focusing
on its leading spots. Further low-M-class activity is likely, with a
chance of an isolated ≥M5 flare in the next 24-48 hours.

Solar activity has slightly increased since the last message.
The target region has now been designated as NOAA 13813
(S22E51, beta-gamma/D-type). This region produced three
low-M-class flares and one high-C-class flare during the period,
while the largest magnitude flare in the period was an M2.9 on
2-Sep-2024 at 13:33 UT from NOAA 13807 (S16W52, beta-
gamma/E-type). 13807 also produced another two low-M-class
flares and over ten mid-C-class flares in the period. However,
the Major Flare Watch will continue with NOAA 13813 as the
target region for a further 24 hours, due to its prior flaring history.
Further M-class activity is likely, with a chance of an isolated ≥M5
flare in the next 24-48 hours.

The level of solar activity is moderate. The largest event since the last
message was an M2.0 flare produced by the leading spots of the limb
target region (S20E70). This region also produced an M1.1 flare during
the period. The Major Flare Watch will continue with this South East
limb region. Please note that NOAA 13807 (S16W38, beta-gamma/
E-type) was the source of an M1.5 flare and three mid-C-class flares
in the period. Further C- and low-M-class flares are expected in the
next 24-48 hours, with a chance of >=M5 events.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate-to-high level. Target region NOAA 13806
maintained spot area but increased in number of spots while losing its
delta-spot configuration to be classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot
group. NOAA 13806 produced high C-class activity, but the region located
beyond the South East limb mentioned in yesterday's message continued to
produce M-class flares - an impulsive M1.4 and a long-duration M5.5 on
1-Sep-2024 at 07:47 UT and 11:41 UT, respectively. At this point we are
initiating a MM#003 Major Flare Watch on this South East limb region.
High C-class flares are expected in the following 24 hours, with a good
chance for more flares >=M5.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13806 has
emerged new magnetic flux since the last message, growing in sunspot
area and number of spots with a corresponding increase in complexity
to be classed as a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group. NOAA 13807
(a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group) produced four C-class flares in
the period. A region currently located beyond the South East limb
also produced C-class flares and an M1.2 on 31-Aug-2024 at 08:52 UT,
while target NOAA 13806 produced three M-class flares - an M1.1,
M1.2, and M1.8 on 31-Aug-2024 at 00:38 UT, 02:26 UT, and 12:50 UT,
respectively. Additional C-class activity is expected over the next
24-hour period, with a strong chance of a mid-M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a moderate level. Target region NOAA 13806 has grown in
terms of spot area and number of spots since the last message, although this
is likely related to it rotating onto the visible disk and being affected by
foreshortening to a lesser degree rather than undergoing significant magnetic
flux emergence. However, NOAA 13806 has remained classified as a beta/D-type
sunspot group. This region produced C-class activity in the period along with
the only two M-class flares - an M1.2 and M3.8 on 30-Aug-2024 at 02:00 UT and
12:13 UT, respectively. This region will be monitored closely for a potential
Major Flare Watch if activity increases or a delta-spot configuration develops.
C-class flares are expected in the following 24 hours, with a strong chance
for more M-class flares.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 13796 has continued
to decay in the past 24 hours, decreasing in spot area and number of spots.
NOAA 13796 again remained classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group,
and produced one C-class flare in the period - a C5.6 on 29-Aug-2024 at
05:26 UT. The South East limb region mentioned in yesterday's message has
now been designated as NOAA 13806 (a beta/D-type sunspot group) and once
again was the source of the largest magnitude flare in the period - a C7.0
on 29-Aug-2024 at 04:07 UT. Note that the Mt Wilson magnetic and McIntosh
white-light structural classifications for NOAA 13806 are still affected
by its proximity to the limb at the start of the UT day. This region seems
to be reasonably mature with its main leading and trailing polarity spots
being quite close together, so NOAA 13806 becomes the new target. Further
C-class activity is expected over the following 24-hour period, with a
chance for a low M-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a low level. Target region NOAA 13796 was decayed
since the last message, decreasing in spot area and number of spots as
it rotates towards the South West limb but remaining classified as a
beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. NOAA 13796 produced one C-class flare
in the period (a C3.8 on 28-Aug-2024 at 01:24 UT), while the largest
magnitude flare was a C5.0 on 28-Aug-2024 at 14:50 UT that appears to
have originated from a new region beyond the South East limb. At this
time we terminate the MM#003 Major Flare Watch, although the target
stays as NOAA 13796. More C-class flares are expected in the next 24
hours, with a chance for a low M-class flare.
