Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained low. The largest event since the last message
was a C6.3 flare at 10:12 UT today from NOAA 14351 (S04W28), which
also produced three additional ~C2 flares during the period. This region
has been classified as a beta-delta configuration, but its sunspot area and
number of spots have begun to decrease. The target region NOAA 14353
(N18W23) has been flare-quiet during the period but has developed into a
beta-delta configuration. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14353.
Additional C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained low since the last message. The largest
event during the period was a C5.9 flare at 21:41 UT yesterday,
produced by a spotless region near the southeast limb (S24E75).
Yesterday’s target NOAA 14345 and the nearby region NOAA 14341
remained flare-quiet in the period. Region 14345 has decreased in
magnetic complexity and is now classified as beta/E-type. NOAA
14353 (N17W10, beta/D-type) is showing ongoing significant flux
emergence and produced two ~C4 flares during the period. Today,
we will switch the target to NOAA 14353. Additional C-class activity
is expected over the next 24 hours.

Solar activity has remained low. The largest event since the
last message was a C9.5 flare at 19:43 UT yesterday, attributed
a newly emerged region NOAA 14353 (N17E03, beta/D-type).
However, flares from other regions (e.g., the target NOAA 14345)
also contributed to the soft X-ray flux. NOAA 14341 (S11W42,
beta/C-type) and the target region NOAA 14345 (S17W35, beta-
gamma/E-type) produced a number of low C-class flares during
the period. Today, we will continue monitoring NOAA 14345, with
particular attention to its leading sunspot. Additional C-class activity
is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance of an isolated
low M-class event.

The largest event during the period was a C8.6 flare at 19:29
UT yesterday from NOAA 14341 (S11W30, beta-delta/D-type).
This region also produced a C8.3 flare. NOAA 14349 (S15E40,
beta/D-type) and the target region NOAA 14345 (S17W23, beta-
gamma/E-type) also produced several mid-to-high C-class flares
during the period. Today, we will continue to observe NOAA 14345,
with particular attention to its leading sunspot, which appears
magnetically connected to NOAA 14341. Additional C-class activity
is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance of isolated low-
level M-class events.

Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last message.
The largest event during the period was an M3.4 flare at 06:53 UT today
from NOAA 14349 (S16E17, beta/C-type). Yesterday’s target, NOAA
14341 (S11W14), has remained flare-quiet throughout the period and
has continued to decrease in magnetic complexity; it is now classified
as beta/D-type. Nearby region NOAA 14345 (S17W07) produced an
M1.2 flare along with several low C-class flares. Today, we will end the
Major Flare Watch campaign, and the default target will switch to NOAA
14345 due to its ongoing significant flux emergence. Additional C-class
activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance of low M-class
events.

message.
The largest event during the period was a C8.0 flare at 19:09 UT yesterday,
attributed to NOAA 14342 (N14E03, beta/D-type). However, flares from other
regions (e.g., NOAA 14349) also contributed to the soft X-ray flux. Target
region NOAA 14341 has remained flare-quiet throughout the period and has
decreased in magnetic complexity, now classified as beta-gamma/D-type.
Nearby region NOAA 14345 produced several C-class flares during the period.
The Major Flare Watch campaign will continue for a final 24 hours for NOAA
14341 due to its flare history. If possible, please also include NOAA 14345
in
your field of view. Further C-class activity is expected, with a chance of
an
isolated >M5 flare within the next 24 hours.

14345 (S16E17, beta/C-type), located near the target region NOAA 14341
(S11E10). 14341 has been flare-quiet since yesterday’s X1.9 flare, but this
region has evolved into a beta-gamma-delta magnetic configuration with
ongoing flux emergence. Today, we will extend the Major Flare Watch with
NOAA 14341 for the next 24 hours. Further C-class activity is expected,
with a chance for >M5 flares in the next 24-48 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
An X1.9 flare was produced by NOAA 14341 at 17:27 UT today (1/18).
The flare started from the South of main (negative polarity) sunspots,
at the location of the filament adjacent to the Southwesternmost (positive)
sunspot. At this time, we will implement a Major Flare Watch campaign
with NOAA 14341. Additional major flares larger than M5 are expected
in the next 24 to 48 hours.

at 22:00 UT is: S11E17 (-294", -124").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly decreased from the last message.
The target region, NOAA 14341 produced an M1.2 flare at 23:46 UT
yesterday(1/17) from the area of mixed polarity in the West vicinity
of the main sunspot. In addition, 2 C class flares were from this
region, while a C7.2 event at 06:01 UT today was from the East side
of the main sunspot. NOAA 14242 in the Northern hemisphere is another
source of flares in the past 24 to 48 hours, but these events are currently
at a low-C level.
Although NOAA 14341 is reducing the area (840 to 500 millionths), it
maintains flare activity of high-C to M class. Today, we will continue to
observe NOAA 14341, at the West side of the main spots.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last
message. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14343 produced 5 C class flares
after the message, with the largest being a C5.2 at 22:58 UT
yesterday (1/16). However it has been flare-quiet during the recent
12 hours, although it maintains clear sigmoidal loops.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was an M2.2 flare at 10:19 UT
today produced by NOAA 14341 from its Northwest area. NOAA 14341
has reached the size of 840 millionths, and added magnetic complexity
to a beta-gamma-delta type. There is an area of mixed polarity in the
West vicinity of the main largest sunspot, that repeats brightenings
including a few C class flares by itself and the ones associated with
the flares reported from the closely adjacent region NOAA 14345.
In the next 24 hours, the target region will switch back to NOAA
14341 at the area of mixed polarity in the West of the main sunspot.
Additional C to M class flares are expected.
