MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2882 produced an isolated M1.6
event at 10/09/06:38 UT. A CME that is likely Earth-directed
was associated with the flare event. 2882 was also the
source of a C2.7 event at 10/08/19:56 UT. A tiny magnetic
delta configuration formed since the last message
within the trailing portion of the EFR that is located
just north of the large round leader sunspot. The
delta configuration is now decaying. C-class events are
likely with a slight chance of another isolated M-class
event in the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2882 was the source of numerous
B-class events and a C1.9 event at 10/08/11:08 UT.
The recently emerged flux located directly north of the
target region's large round leading sunspot has a reversed
polarity beta magnetic configuration. B-class events expected
with C-class events possible in the next 24 hour forecast period.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low-to-moderate. Target region NOAA 12882
initially decayed slightly following the last message, but then developed
spots in its trailing polarity flux to be classified a beta-gamma/C-type
sunspot group. This region was the source of several B-class flares since
the last message and the largest flare of the period, a C5.5 on 7-Oct-2021
at 02:35 UT. After this, NOAA 12882 has started emerging new flux on the
Northern edge of its main leading polarity spot, which has already formed
pores. More B-class flaring is expected in the following 24-hour period,
with a good chance for additional C-class activity.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues to be at a low level. Target region NOAA 12882
has remained stable since the last message, continuing to be classified
as an alpha/H-type sunspot group. The small emerging flux region to its
North has become more magnetically connected, but only B-class activity
has been observed since the last message. Additional B-class flaring is
expected in the next 24 hours, with a small chance for a C-class flare.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Target region NOAA 12880 has
decreased in spot area but increased in longitudinal extent from
a beta/D-type to a beta/E-type sunspot group classification. NOAA
12882 has maintained its designation as an alpha/H-type sunspot
group, but has increased in reported spot area as it has rotated
further on disk. Both regions have produced low B-class activity
since the last message, but 12882 becomes the new target region
due to there being a very small emerging flux region close by to
the North. Further B-class flares are expected in the following
24-hour period, with a chance for C-class flaring if the nearby
emerging flux region becomes more magnetically connected to NOAA
12882.

Solar activity continues at the low B-level. NOAA 12877 is now beyond
the western limb but has produced some minor events since the last
message. The default target region shall revert back to NOAA 12880
with a beta/D-type configuration. Further low-level activity possible
over the next 24 hours.

Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 12877 was the source of two C1 flares since the last message, as
well as several B-class events. The region is now behind the southwest
limb although the looptops are still visible in EUV images. It shall
continue as the target region for a further 24 hours with chance for
an additional isolated C-class flare before it rotates out of view.

be the source of the activity as it approaches the southwest limb. The
region appears to be in decay but shall continue as the target region
for a further 24 hours. Additional B-level activity possible before
west limb passage.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at low levels. NOAA 12880 has remained
quiescent since the last message while NOAA 12877 has continued to
produce B-level activity, as well as a C1.2 flare at 12:43 UT
yesterday. NOAA 12880 has been downgraded to a beta region while NOAA
12877 retains its beta-gamma configuration, and is undergoing positive
flux emergence in its negative leader spot. NOAA 12877 shall therefore
be the new target region as it approaches the southwest limb. Further
low-level events likely with chance for an isolated C-class flare.

Solar activity continues at low levels. Both NOAA 12877 and NOAA 12880
have produced B-class flares, as well as a C1 flare each, since the
last message. Both are classified as beta-gamma regions, although NOAA
12880 currently has a factor of two greater sunspot area. NOAA 12880
shall remain the target region for a further 24 hours. Additional
B-level activity likely with chance for an isolated C-class flare.
