Dear Collaborators,
The target region NOAA 12822 was the source of a C1.5 flare at 09:15
UT today, in addition to several B-class flares since the last
message. The region has increased in complexity and is now classified
as a beta-delta region due to the patch of negative polarity embedded
in the positive leader spot. Further B- and C-level activity likely
over the next 24 hours with slight chance of a low M-class flare.

12822 is still classified as a beta-gamma region but has begun to
decay in spot size. The Major Flare Watch is therefore ending at this
time. NOAA 12822 shall continue to be the target region, with B- and
C-level activity expected over the next 24 hours.

NOAA 12822 has remained dormant since the last message despite the
sustained C-level activity over the preceding days. The region retains
its quadrupole structure and is now classified as a beta-gamma region,
which may indicate sheering between the leading and trailing spots.
Major Flare Watch shall remain in effect, with further C-level
activity likely and chance of an M-class flare over the next 24 hours.

The level of solar activity is currently moderate. NOAA 12822 has remained
classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group and continued to produce C-class
flares since the last message (the largest being a C4.0 flare on 9-May-2021
at 13:38 UT. The MM#003 Major Flare Watch will continue for another day due
to the compact quadrupolar magnetic structure that target region NOAA 12822
displays. Further C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a
chance for another M-class flare.

Solar activity is at a moderate level. The target region has now
been designated as NOAA 12822 and is classified as a beta/C-type
sunspot group. This region has produced two C-class flares since
the last message, with the largest being a C8.6 on 8-May-2021 at
18:22 UT. The current MM#003 Major Flare Watch will continue for
at least another 24 hours because the negative spot to the South
East of the primary positive spot appears to be merging penumbrae
with a small positive spot. Further C-class activity is expected
in the following 24 hours, with a good chance for another M-class
flare.

Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is medium-to-high. The magnetic flux region
that had begun rotating over the North East limb yesterday now displays
a mature leading spot with penumbra and a small opposite-polarity spot
slightly South East of the main spot (but with disconnected penumbrae,
so not a delta configuration). This region is expected to be designated
as NOAA 12822 at the end of the UT day and it has continued to produce
B-class flares since the last message as well as an M3.9 on 7-May-2021
at 18:43 UT. At this point the Max Millennium Program prematurely ends
its support of the Parker Solar Probe 8th perihelion passage and moves
straight into an MM#003 Major Flare Watch due to the region's potential
to produce an M5 or greater flare. C-class flare activity is expected
in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for another M-class flare.

Solar activity is at a very low level. There continues to be no spots
on the visible solar disk. A pre-existing magnetic flux region is now
rotating over the North East limb and has produced several low B-class
flares since the last message. Further B-class activity is expected in
the following 24 hours. The Max Millennium Program continues supporting
the coordination of observations for the Parker Solar Probe (PSP) 8th
perihelion passage. The PSP model-consensus magnetic-footpoint location
that is today's target remains in the Northern polar coronal hole, but
has continued to drift Northwards.

the 8th perihelion passage of Parker Solar Probe (PSP). The target
is still the Northern polar coronal hole that is the model-consensus
magnetic-footpoint location of PSP.

to be devoid of spots, and a few low B-class flares have occurred since
the last message (from a new small flux region that has just emerged as
it rotated up to the North West limb). No change in flaring activity is
expected in the following 24 hours. The Max Millennium Program maintains
its support of the Parker Solar Probe (PSP) 8th perihelion passage. The
model-consensus magnetic-footpoint location of PSP has changed from the
last message, tracking northwards to now target the polar coronal hole.
