MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is very low again today. The background x-ray flux is currently at the B2.2 level. All the regions on the visible solar disk are stable or decaying. Target region NOAA 2449 continues in decay phase and was quiescent in the past 24 hours. No significant solar flare activity expected in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2449 on November 14 at 12:35 UT is: S11W30 (Solar X = 477", Solar Y = -228")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
