Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has further reduced to a moderate-to-low level since
the last message. The target region, NOAA 14294 produced an M1.1
flare at 05:27 UT today(12/12) from the Southwestern limb and several
low-C class flares in the past 24 hours. An M2.0 flare was reported
at 04:50 UT today from NOAA 14296 at the area South of its leading
sunspots, in close proximity to the east end of NOAA 14294.
Although NOAA 14294 and its adjacent NOAA 14296 will go behind the
limb soon, they are currently the most flare productive regions.
Today we will end the Major Flare Watch campaign on NOAA 14294, and
observe NOAA 14296 as a default target while it is passing the
Southwestern limb. Low-to-mid C class flares are expected.

Solar activity has reduced to a moderate level since the last message.
The target region, NOAA 14294 produced an M4.4 flare at 21:58 UT
yesterday(12/10) from the South of the large trailing spots. NOAA
14294 also produced a C9.5 flare at 15:39 UT today from the area
extended to Northwest. Both events occurred from the peripheral area
rather than on the visible sunspots of NOAA 14294.
NOAA 14294 appears to be in the process of fragmentation, but
maintains flare activity interacting with its peripheral area. Today we
will run the last 24 hours of the Major Flare Watch on NOAA 14294,
on its Northwestern area close to the limb. Additional C to M class
flares are expected, with a slight chance of an event larger than M5.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly declined from the last message but
continues to be at a high level. The target region, NOAA 14294
produced 4 low-M class and more than 15 C class flares in the past
24 hours, with the largest being an M1.9 at 7:31 UT today(12/10).
NOAA 14294 shows signs of decay, undergoing division of the large
trailing sunspot and fragmentation of the central area with mixed
polarity. However, it maintains total size and flare activity mainly
from its Northwestern region. We will continue the Major Flare Watch
campaign for another 24 hours with this region. Additional M class
flares are expected with the chance of events larger than M5.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains high since the last message, due to the flares
mainly reported from NOAA 14294. This region produced 7 M class
and more than 10 C class flares in the past 24 hours, with the largest
being an M3.1 flare at 21:13 UT yesterday(12/8). NOAA 14299 in the
Northern hemisphere produced 2 low-M class flares. NOAA 14298,
the current Major Flare Watch target has been flare-quiet since the
X1.1 event yesterday.
NOAA 14294 added new flux in the Northwest of the largest sunspot
(with positive polarity). A train of tiny negative sunspots appeared
and that maintains its complex magnetic configuration of a delta type.
In the next 24 hours, we will continue the Major Flare Watch campaign
with the target switched to NOAA 14294. Additional M-class flares
are expected with the chance of events larger than M5.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has been elevated to a high level since the last
message. An X1.1 flare was reported at 4:49 UT today(12/8) from
NOAA 14298. This region is classified as an alpha-type, but there
was a flux emergence in the Northern vicinity since yesterday.
At this time, we will implement a Major Flare Watch campaign on
NOAA 14298. However, there are other regions that are also worth
paying close attention:
NOAA 14299 produced an M2.5 flare at 23:56 UT yesterday around the
Western spot that produced an M8 event on 12/6. The Eastern portion
of NOAA 14299 also produced an M1.8 flare at 06:40 UT today.
Yesterday's target, NOAA 14294 and its Eastern proximity region,
NOAA 14296 are constantly producing flares of low-C to low-M class
in the past 24 hours, including an M2.1 at 00:33 UT and an M1.1 at
12:42 UT today both from NOAA 14294. These active regions maintain
their large size and high magnetic complexity as a whole.
In the next 24 hours, we will focus on NOAA 14298, the source region
of the X class event today, as the target of the Major Flare Watch
campaign. The position of the target in NOAA 14298 on 8-December-2025
at 17:30 UT is: S14W60 (817", -244").

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased to a moderate level since the last
message. Two M class flares were reported in tandem yesterday (12/6)
both from NOAA 14299, which is the region that produced an X flare
on 12/1. While first event, an M1.2 at 18:58 UT was started from the
Eastern (larger) sunspot, an M8.1 at 20:29 UT occured from the
Western (smaller) sunspot with accompanying a filament eruption.
While this region has been in the process of flucturing, the Western
sunspots are losing their penumbra after the M8 event.
The target region, NOAA 14294 has produced 8 C class flares during
the recent 10 hours. The largest event from this region was a C7.5
at 11:51 UT today from the Southeastern portion of its trailing
(the largest) sunspot. An emergence of new flux with an opposite
polarity to the sunspot is observed in this area.
Today we will continue to observe NOAA 14294, but the pointing is
moved to the area of the C7.5 event, expecting additional high-C class
events or larger.

Solar activity has slightly increased to a low-to-moderate level

a C6.5 flare at 2:55 UT today(12/6) from NOAA 14294. In addition,
this region produced 6 low-C class flares. This region is further
reduced in size but maintains its magnetic complexity of a
beta-gamma-delta type. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14296 produced
6 low-C class flares since the last message, but reduced magnetic
complexity to a beta-type.
Today we will continue to pay close attention to the large active
region group consisting of NOAA 14296, 14294, and 14298. The target
will be switched back to NOAA 14294, in the center area with mixed
polarity, expecting additional low-to-mid C class events.

16:00 UT is: S14W15 (253", -252").

Solar activity declined to a low level since the last message.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C7.4 flare at 1:42 UT
today (12/5) from NOAA 14299, which is the region of an X-flare
on 12/1.
The target region, NOAA 14294 produced two C class flares (C3.7 at
23:13 UT yesterday and C4.3 at 16:15 UT today). NOAA 14296 and
NOAA 14298 each produced 3 low-to-mid flares, with the largest being
a C6.8 flare from NOAA 14296 at 23:18 UT yesterday. This region
increased in size to 650 millionths, while NOAA 14294 and 14298 both
reduced its area slightly.
In the next 24 hours, we will continue to pay close attention to the
large active region group, NOAA 14298, 14294, and 14296, but the
target will be switched to NOAA 14296, on the East side of the
leading sunspot where C class flares were from. Additional C class
events are expected.

Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly increased to a low-to-moderate level
since the last message. An M6.0 flare was observed at 2:36 UT today
(12/4) from a new region NOAA 14300. This is a small region located
at 7 degree North in the Northeastern hemisphere. It is currently
classified as a beta-gamma type, but slightly decreased in size
(40 to 30 millionths) after the M class event.
The second largest event in the past 24 hours was a C9.2 flare at
00:11 UT today from NOAA 14296. Yesterday's target, NOAA 14294
maintains its size (1445 millionths) and magnetic complexity
(a beta-gamma-delta type), having produced 4 low-to-mid C class
flares since the last message. NOAA 14298 produced 2 C4 class flares.
As a group, NOAA 14296, 14294 and 14298 maintained their flare activity
while the total area was slightly decreased.
Today, we will continue to observe the center portion of NOAA 14294
the region of mixed polarity. Mid-to-high C class flares are expected
with a chance of an M class event.

17:00 UT is: S14E09 (-159", -256").

Solar activity continues to be at a low level since the last message.
NOAA 14299, the target of the current Major Flare Watch campaign
only produced 3 C class flares, although it maintains its size and
magnatic complexity (classified as a beta-gamma type). At this time,
we will halt the Major Flare Watch campaign with NOAA 14299.
The largest event in the past 24 hours was a C5.5 flare at 12:29 UT
today(12/3) from NOAA 14288. This region also produced a C5.4 flare
yesterday (at 20:32 UT) but now it has almost completed its Northwest
limb passage.
A large group of active regions, NOAA 14298, 14294 and 14296 are only
producing low C class flares, but maintains its magnetic complexity,
currently classified as beta, beta-delta and beta-gamma-delta type,
respectively). Most recent activity from this region is a C3.4 flare
at 15:47 UT from NOAA 14294 today. We will observe NOAA 14294 as a
default target in the next 24 hours, on its area of trailing (positive
polarity) sunspot.
