Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is low. The largest event since the previous message was a C3.1 flare on 16-Dec-2013 at 21:33 UT, released by NOAA 11927, a tiny bipole that emerged on the southern boundary of NOAA 11917. But, over all the region (11917 and 11927) continues to decay. A new region is rapidly emerging at ~S05E15, and appears to be growing in X-ray activity. The target region is now designated as the new region. Low C-class activity is expected, with a chance for a moderate C-class event.
The position of the new region on 17-Dec-2013 at 18:10 UT is: S05E14, ( -237", -65" )
