Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The current level of solar activity is moderate. Yesterday's target region (NOAA 11890) was only responsible for a C-class activity. The region still contains a delta spot, but the penumbrae diminished and the other spots have continued to fragment. On the other hand a new region has rotated over the East limb, designated NOAA 11895, and was responsible for the largest flare over the previous 24 hours (a M2.4 flare on 11-Nov-2013 at 11:18 UT. The new region is too close to the limb to obtain a reliable magnetic classification, but may harbour a mixed polarity spot. The MFW is ended at this time and the new target region is NOAA 11895. C-class activity is expected with a chance of a further M-class event.
The position of NOAA 11895 on 11-Nov-2013 at 18:10 UT is: S15W57, ( -787", -280" )
