Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is moderate. Target region NOAA 13101 grew slightly since the last message, increasing in complexity to be classified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group. This region continued to produce multiple C-class flares in the period on its way to rotating up to the North West limb. Previous target region NOAA 13098 (still classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group) was also the source of multiple C-class flares and an M1.7 flare on 12-Sep-2022 at 23:37 UT. The target will switch to NOAA 13098 due to its flaring history and NOAA 13101 currently rotating over the limb. High C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for additional M-class flaring.
The position of NOAA 13098 on 13-Sep-2022 at 14:30 UT is:
N18W44 , ( 631", 211" )
