Dear Collaborators,
The visible solar disk remains spotless. No flares have occurred since the last message. The target plage region NOAA 12755 seems to lost its filament. We will watch this region for a further 24 hours. No noteworthy activities are likely in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12755 on January 9 at 02:30 UT is: S36W28 (371", -526")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
