Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity has returned to a low level. NOAA 11928 has now rotated over the South West limb, having previously displayed beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group characteristics. This region continued to produce C-class activity, totaling 4 C-class events since yesterday's message (including the largest magnitude flare, a C4.7 on 25-Dec-2013 at 06:34 UT). Further C-class events are probable over the following 24 hours, with a small chance for an isolated low M-class flare before the higher-lying loops of NOAA 11928 rotate completely beyond the limb.
The position of NOAA 11928 on 25-Dec-2013 at 13:00 UT is:
S16W90, ( 937", -269" )
