Dear Collaborators,
There was an isolated M1.6 flare at 20:54 UT on March 7 from NOAA 14016 (S26E04). 14016 retains a beta-gamma/ C-type configuration and seems to interact with the target region NOAA 14012 via overlying loops. 14012 was the source of six low C-class (C1-C2) flares during the period. It retains a complex beta-gamma/E-type configuration but has entered its decay phase. Today we will continue to watch this region. Further C-class flares are expected in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 14012 on March 8 at 08:30 UT is:
S13W15 (244", -101")
