MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2860 (D-type/beta) is now passing over the SW limb. 2860 was the source of a C1.2 event at 09/02/20:55 UT. The flare was again associated with the active/eruptive filament located along the southern portion of the region's main magnetic inversion line. Another isolated C-class event is possible in the next 24 hours. Recently emerged NOAA 2863 (S16E21, C-type/beta) is producing numerous B-type events. 2863 will most likely become the default target tomorrow.
The position of NOAA 2860 on September 03 at 15:30 UT is: S27W86 (Solar X = 845", Solar y = -436")
