Dear Collaborators,
Despite its beta-gamma configuration NOAA 13180 has remained quiescent since the last message. The new region now visible on the southeast limb, however, has continued to produce C-level activity, including a C6.8 flare at 07:42 UT today, and shall be the new target region. It is currently unnumbered and its magnetic configuration is uncertain at this time but further intermediate level activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 5-Jan-2023 at 12:30 UT is:
S19E87, ( -921", -314" )
